I think that we need to value that fact that some of those owners that got in at ground level and built thier teams to be winning franchises should get to maintain those teams. However, there should be an investigation done on each multiple team owner, as to make sure they are not gutting one team to make another great. I would love to be able to be a team owner. I think that Bort has come up with a fair solution for us all.

I would say that alot of future team owners should be an Offensive/Defensive Coordinator or General Manager first to get a taste of the business. I don't think that there will ever be any issues with not enough free agent players to sign for these team This game is like a brush fire in an 80 mph wind. It's spreading and spreading fast.

Just my thoughts.......Thanks

I see your point, Dee. I think Bort is trying to reward owners who has been playing with this game for a while. Team ownership is a lot more responsibility than player manager, and it's best for players to play the game for a while and then become owners. Last thing we want to see is a bunch of newbies just signed up becoming owners right away only to find out that they aren't fit yet to be owners. When that happens, you will have a lot of badly managed teams or inactive owners. (sure inactive owners will be removed, but high ownership turnover rate is really bad for everyone).

With the current setting, owners who have been playing this game the longest will have first crack at owning a team. I think this is fair, and it should reduce the likelihood of inactive or "bad" owners.

This will allow the teams to have a full 16-game schedule, but also allow us to control the team market a little better.

I have a concern about this - if they're released over time that means that new players will be able to join them correct? How will this be reconciled with new players being able to choose their teams and timing in joining a human team if they join a CPU that's then sold. I know it wasn't a concern before, but with the advent of the D leagues, it could be now.

So what if we a just bought a gutted team? Shouldn't we also get a reset on Chemistry? I bought a team two days ago that was gutted and my Chemistry was ruined. The old owner left me with one player (who wanted to be traded).

Follow up to my earlier statment........If any of the team owners are determined to be cheating by gutting.....they should have to change their name to Bill Billechek and their team should be changed to the Patriots. This way we will know that we are signing with cheaters............................

We'd just make those teams not joinable by new users. Only D-Leagues would be joinable.

Sounds pretty good. Only option I'd add is the ability to specify a new team from one of the D-leagues versus an already existing one that was sold back.

If I'm going to get a team in the future, I don't want to deal with a gutted team that has no real chance of competing.

I agree. Bort, will we have the option to choose to buy a new team rather than an existing team that was sold?

Like I said earlier - case by case.
