You don't necessarily have to distance yourself from her. If she's cool enough to still be a friend then just leave it at that and don't expect anything more. It can very helpful to have a close female friend to give advice or even better be a wingman for you.

I actually have a few close female friends I just had no idea what this one was doing. She is pretty chill though so maybe.. She's like a really attractive bro lol

I actually had a really close girl "friend" when i was younger. We hung out all the time from the time we were 15 to about 24. she always had a boyfriend and i was always with some random chick. we loved hanging out and her boyfriends would get really jealous of me. we never even kissed, but the few times we were both single we would end sleeping in the same bed together. We always said if we werent married by the time we were 40 that we would go ahead and just marry eachother. anyway, one coke fueled extra long drinking binge of a night we ended up screwing. the next morning was just kind of awkward and we slowly drifted apart after that. We still talk on facebook and shit, but the friendship part of it was pretty much ruined after the sex. so if you value a girl as a friend, try not to sleep with her imo

My dad does a lot of work with superfund sites. He works at DOJ in environmental enforcement so they do a lot of litigation against companies related to superfund sites. I actually don't know how much he is still involved with that but it used to be a big part of his work when I was younger.
