I'm going to start racing stock cars. I've been practicing turning left and then going straight, turning left, then going straight, turning left, then going straight. I'm pretty good at it!
If you want to watch real racing, watch some MotoGP or AMA. Two wheeled racing takes much more skill than NASCAR. They run through chicanes with lots of elevation change and off camber turns. And get this... They turn RIGHT as well as left!!!
Imagine that, not racing in a banked oval the whole time.
They will also race in the rain which takes even more skill. Unlike NASCAR.
That horse is a beast. Its insane how he just pulls away, never seen a horse do that and still look so damn fresh at the end. Bit of history happens in three weeks.
Im from Elmont. some of you might know that the Belmont racetrack is where the third leg of the triple crown is held. i been going to the track since i was a kid. Belmont is not the short track of the kentucky or preakness is.
there has been a hell of alot more 2 leg winners only to come up short at the belmont then there are triple crown winners.
i go to the belmont every year... its alot of fun. best i did was the horse about 5 years ago that was on the outside... paid 13 to 1. i was a happy man
I'm not a big horse racing fan. Even less so after watching the Breeder's Cup the past couple years. How many have been put down lately? I can think of three off hand, Barbaro, Pine Island, and now George Washington. I'm pretty sure there are one or two others in the past couple years I'm missing.
