That's more like what I expected. I was about to suggest we maybe use this game: http://goallineblitz.com/game/game.pl?game_id=109812 from earlier today, but your game will work nicely as well.

I'm trying to get all the data to make that comparison if a tie occurs. When you say "last game" do you mean your game as in the one against the Paris Penguins (2-4), or just whatever your last game happened to be at the time the tie occurs? I just want to know if 375.5 yards allowed is the base for comparison, or if I should look for a different value in the future.

Man, that one destroyed our averages. They ran a pitch EVERY SINGLE PLAY. That only works if your defense isn't swiss cheese and doesn't let up 80 points or whatever.

For Amsterdam, nice win today (5 minutes ago).

I've run some preliminary numbers for the WEA even leagues, and it looks like the Amsterdam Fire will easily jump into the #1 spot on my rankings after all the Week 7 games are done. I doubt any of the teams in the WEA odd leagues can match them. Helsinki will likely be about top 5 and Chelsea will also likely be in the top 10.

To break the tie, you must compare the yards allowed of the two teams, to the Amsterdam Fire's last game... and whichever one is closer to the Fire's (yes closer because none will be as small as ours in this tournament) that team moves on.

haha. well played, ig. BUT, I do not want you using facts to support your argument ever again. Bad form.

Flushing, you're doing fine. I think I may have worn the rest of them out.

Yeah, I was thinking this win will probably help us a lot. I'm not sure what happened to this team. They have a strong roster and usually play everyone pretty tough. It may have just not been there day today.

Could you post the spreadsheet that has the rankings and the tournament brackets on the first post as a short cut. I always have to look for it.

lol...just trying to catch up on this forum...and i think sparky (sorry spicy but sparky sticks) is certifiably crazy...definitely keeps things lively around here.

definitely post the updated spreadsheet when you get a chance...i know our one loss will prevent the cheetahs from being at the top but i'll be curious to see how the teams ranked relative to each other now.

and we're doing if you want to use which team has the most rushing yards to determine a tie.

Jay, could you help Rob out and edit your first post on this thread to include: http://spreadsheets.google.com/ccc?key=pOUigrsS32wLz2ey8lRrIbw&hl=en.

Yeah and why are the Devils and Smokers playing each other in the second round. Isn't this based on the rankings who matches up against who?

Not anymore. With so many complaints about people playing within their own league I am going to throw teams against each other that wouldn't see each other in the season.

Don't worry the best team will still win.
