good points on conditioning gentlemen.

lots of examples I could look at -- very first one:

looks like a straight fly route from the WR - my CB doesn't even take a single step backward in backpedal. (think that is AZ's WR)

Felt like showing this one because, a) my build is starting to get some sick separation against lol CPU corners, and b) the corner abandons backpedal, but then resumes it once more:

My guess is that there's gotta be some sort of distance down the field where the CB isn't supposed to let the WR beat him to.

WR time to Distance X < CB Backpedal speed, he stays in backpedal
WR time to Distance X > CB backpedal speed, he abandons backpedal until he's gone far enough that he can resume backpedal

So there's gotta be some mix of CB backpedal speed, time to flip hips to turn and run, and normal speed that factors into it. If the WR got stuck in the mud from poor route running, you might see your CB resume their backpedal because the WR has unexpectedly slowed down their travel time to distance X. Whatever that may be.

CPU QB's seem to have taken a mini leap in Seasoned, they definitely get more accurate. Just wish their QB settings weren't dumb.

So conditioning is a lot more important than we thought? Interesting...

My HB has 82 power and 76 conditioning...which one do you think I should use cap boosters on. I was thinking one on power to 87 and 2 on conditioning to 86. Might be a good compromise.

I would go with 92 power running and 81 conditioning. Every point in power running above 90 makes a huge difference.

it really does. There's just no excuse for a power RB with <100 power running end-game.

Galithor did some conditioning analysis awhile back, can't find the post ATM, but there's a definite difference in speed as the energy bar drops.
