Hell of a game Southside, that was a close defensive battle. When we missed the XP all I could think was that was gonna be the difference.

Wow, someone found the cheat code in Madden!

Sets the stage for basically a Mountaineers Vs Rats winner takes the ladder championship match, only team in top 10 Rats havent played. Their win vaulted them from 3rd to 1st (yeah I know Boxer league...), but we beat Madden as well and have 1 less loss.

Yeah I think the vault was a quality of win thing. I believe you all are the only team we've not faced in the top ten either. I'm sure the powers that be will set us up for a National Championship Bowl Game.

Think the difference is a total quality of opponents deal, at least going off the scout power ranking thingy. Despite playing almost every top team in the ladder by virtue of playing Boxer (next ranked team is around 20ish) every other match I was always behind the 8 ball in ladder rankings as you all faced off in a fairly well ranked league.

Looking forward to that match, and good luck to you when/if it comes about. My squad probably has a shorter quality shelf life than a lot of the other top teams unless I recruit some star power over the next couple of seasons. But that was one thing I was looking to see when I made a vanilla squad (that and learning to do defensive game planning without worrying about disappointing outside agents).

As far as recruiting, I think you shouldn't have a problem picking guys up over the next few tiers when other teams fold. Everyone wants to play for a winning team.

I don't get how the Ladder games are assigned. We're #5 right now

1. Kentucky
2. Los Alamos
3. Dream Team
4. Madden
5. Beer Town


We beat Kentucky, Los Alamos early in season, split with Dream Team, and lost close game to Madden. Today, we get hte #14 team with no chance to move up?

We got the College Football Power Index Committee chosing these games or what? Jeff Long on retainer at Warrior General?

GG, looked like a blowout early then you guys found a rhythm on O and stopping me up some on D almost making the comeback. Luckily for me my offense found a way into the endzone just enough in the 2nd half to keep you at bay. Good luck until our matchup next season at some point!
