Not my player and just signed yesterday, so I don't know for sure. I'm assuming Elusive from watching him.

Needs to be adjusted so ballcarriers stay outside if the defender is about to be picked up by a blocker, or if the runner has superior speed to beat the defender around the corner.

Put in a tactic for running style. Or add to the current running style.

This one really pissed me off. Wide open outside on 3rd and 12 and cuts inside for no reason at all, almost immediately tackled.

The issue is the runner has no awareness of his lead blocker. He made the cut inside to cut inside of the defender who was about to be blocked. If he knew his lead blocker was going to pick up the block he would have continued outside.

Before the change the runner was also unaware of the defender so he would have kept going outside.

Another annoying example. Easily gets the 1st down if he follows the play. Instead cuts inside for no reason about tick 45. Might even be a TD if he stays outside.

This is a really big change to the running game.

Another example of the runner unaware that his teammate will pick up the block.

I like the change, it's benefiting the Whales on both sides of the ball

I like it too. My runners are power and quick, not fast.

Doesn't look to me like the 'cutbacks' are fooling anyone. The defenses know where the cutbacks are going to happen and just stick with the runner so turning up field just ends up with the ball carrier getting tackled earlier. I've seen some pretty lolsy ones so far and haven't seen anything to suggest it has helped running.

It's like there's now another invisible line that pulls runners in. The Pro set HB Sweep and Big I sweeps are especially bad, should just let those continue outside.

Same thing happens here basically from Big I sweep: (not sure if private)

Not to mention power backs still seem to be the only ones that are able to stay in bounds, elusives give themselves up and run oob pretty early now.

are these guys set to power running? If so this actually make sense because a power back should be looking for the first line to go north and south
