dont get your panties all salty there pal. it was mostly a joke. my point was most of your teams, while pretty solid, just dont stay active til vet. not a jab at you or your coaching or w/e

but since you wanted to get into it, i dont think youve had any success at vet tbh unless im missing some super team you coached. while MMA has had a few ladder trophies and a league trophy over the stunners and constantly hovered in the top 10 (even with an absolutely garbage roster) i dont know in all honesty what the hell youre talking about as the only team i know of for you is rustys which we always beat and was never really considered anywhere near top 10. so how you could say you have had more success is kinda laughable.

and as for the rob comment, lol. me and rob are on alot of the same teams, but i only coach MMA and BB and allow bloody to use my templates. rob does one side of the ball game on D, i do roster management and offense. i would say thats fair enough to say its a 50/50 split.

While I dont jump on the "you only rely on Rob" train, its the D thats hard to do. not O

i agree 100%. that is why i said offense + roster/build management is prob a 50/50 split with rob's D

GL to bsb on the ladder draw, still wish we'd have a real end of ladder system that lets the #1 play the #2.

This is something that needs to be done. At this point weve all pretty much played eachother. I know for whales in sophomore i think weve played all the top 15. Last game should really be #1 vs #2, #3 vs #4 etc

yeah i have thought the same forever. the last game of ladder is so anti-climactic. win a big championship game and then get some inactive team as a ladder draw after. if it were something like that like a "ladder championship" type of game where it puts #1 vs #2 and #3 vs #4 etc it would make the last game much more interesting

at least the ladder system is alot more interesting in general this season

Too bad BSB never drew WoTW.

Didnt manage to crack top3 this time (didnt even think it will be any possible with the changes) but we managed to be the highest seeded rushing team and most importantly, finnished ahead of Miami

Looking at stobies schouting tool you can see the difference between rushing and passing pretty bad so the changes had its effects. Im however still very pleased with the season, especially considering we had to change our COMPLETE defense and lost our lead rusher of the first 2 seasons.

Looking forward to the next season, with or without an in my opinion needed rushing tweak Thanks for the great season and I hope as many as possible of you guys come back for JMan!

P.S.: The ladder reset was one of the best things. I really hope they keep resetting the ladder EVERY season from now on!

I've said this before. What should happen is the last 4 ladder games should be a 16 team, single elimination playoff. All the other ladder games still get played but have no impact on the championship. Kinda like the new Bowl and Playoff system in college football. If you lose in the playoffs in the 1st round, play the next 3 ladder games against teams not in the playoffs.

You are basically spending the first 24 or so games of the season trying to move into the top 16 seeds. It would give those who hover around 20 ranking something to shoot for...get into the tournament! Finish the season strong!

The final rankings for top 5 trophies could still be calculated the same way with ELO, except the #1 trophy would go to the playoff winner.

Now that would be sweet!
