That is a pretty lame excuse for you being too lazy to put together 10 plays offense and defense per season. I mean really? 20 total plays per 2 months? That is all it would take to keep the game somewhat interesting per season. Instead you dropped interest at best.

It was the most interesting season I had in awhile. Absolutely. I have used the new plays a lot.

So, we're losing a bunch of people to boredom on the most interesting season in awhile?

Ya, because nothing is actually new this season. The same defenses are being used. The same offenses are being used. And there is nothing breaking that up.

If getting big bonuses for running different plays doesn't change your offense, then that's your loss, I guess.

Any chance we can get some more detail on what kind of bonuses the offense gets and how significant they are?

If we are just talking plays (not just run vs pass variety) I am pretty sure my offense gets one of the largest benefits over this past season. Sounds pretty boring honestly from an offensive perspective I am unsure if I should even field a defense this season.

Yeah, just go with CPU players.

It does sound like a simple offense buff tbh at this point

I have some actual defensive player AI stuff I'm working on currently to better deal with outside rushes/contain logic; I'm thinking I should be able to finish up tonight and load it up with the other stuff.

Mhhhh. So you shift the powers totally. You think that is smart? Its completely dumb at this point where we have rushing equally to passing in most tiers. In rookie I think passing was still a bit stronger, but not sure.

What you do now is killing the balance COMPLETELY. If you do this kind of stuff then also add beeing able to choose "who covers who?" and "double or triple cover this Receiver". If you add that as well, then I will not complain. If you dont and just allow what you hint above...you kill it for me and many others Im sure

It is possible the 'play diversity' bonus actually offers a run buff. Rushing teams generally run way more diverse playbooks than passing teams...so it could be a mixed bag for rushing this season (but how would we know?)
