1 in 10 chance of getting SF when I'm in range?

The odds of me hitting SF four times in a row were 1/10*1/10*1/10*1/10 = (1/10)^4 = 1 in 10,000.

pfft...we all know DigitalDaggers sits around all day coming up with the handmade schedule for the top 10 teams.

The math's more complex than that, and you'd be saying the same thing regardless of who the opponent was - and you're forgetting that you can play 10 up or 10 down (but really it's more than that).

More like = 1*1/6*1/9*1/7 = 1/500, which hey - had to happen to someone.
1 = you had to play someone. Did it turn into 4 times in a row?
1/6 = SF had 6 teams to choose from when it got to them
1/9 = SF had 9 teams to choose from
1/7 = SF had 7 teams to choose from
Now, in some ways that's not fair because it means we're not taking into account the odds that a team above SF would draw a team below SF to give SF less teams to choose from. But I don't want to do harder math and probability sucks anyways.

Well obviously. Which is why a play like Middle Overload should be great, except it doesn't work like the description, at all.

Depends on the team, when Ronin runs Middle Overload it shuts my run plays down about 90% of the time. When teams that are more focused vs the pass run it it blow them off the ball and get a huge gain.

I find the play to work fairly well with MEM when the situation calls for it. Might help that the D-line are built against the run more than the pass.

It doesn't matter who is running it, the play isn't functioning correctly.

How so? The only thing I've noticed is that ROLB and LOLB don't shoot inside the DE's, but the end result of that is still the same.

Lol really. Queen City's running game might be one of the only running games that I think is better than mine, and I think they are better on D than I am.

I didn't say the odds of me playing "any" team four times in a row, I said the odds of me playing SF four times in a row, in which case you do need to include the first game.

Queen City runs outside a lot from what I remember. Overloading the middle means that your D players are tripping over blocks when trying to get the player on the outside.

It's weird how you answer your own question and still don't understand somehow?

The end result is not he same. Middle overload actually becomes another great pass blitz having the olbs run outside the tackles. If they went inside like they are supposed to the play would function correctly and they should hit the line at the time the hb does actually making it a really good run stopping play for the reason it is supposed to.

I find it more weird that we are on season 3 and you still haven't figured out rush defense yet, your first instinct is always to blame the plays. Doesn't matter that other teams use the same plays with far different results than you. You cried relentlessly about the Spread Dive, got plays added and still couldn't stop the run. Eventually you'll wake up and find that common denominator.
