Yep. Losing four in a row (as you pointed out) will hurt your ranking. That's common sense.

Later this evening I will formally welcome you and Legcy to the 21- ladder club.

Depends on how many upsets happen around us but it could happen. We'll end up somewhere between 18-22.

I agree. The fun games are the competitive ones. Then you have the ones where teams spam DAG. Where is the fun in that? Those teams say they want competition. But, I find that hard to believe when using that kind of game plan. Some of them say it's not an exploit. I believe it is and I refuse to use it.

If you bought a rider I am jealous and therefore our friendship is founded on envy and will eventually turn to hatred and an episode of Frenemies.

If DAG were created in the DPC in GLB1 and worked like it does here, it likely would have been nerfed. As it stands, I think S2 of GLB2 will be looked at much like S8 of GLB1. Teams that adopted DAG (especially at rookie level) excelled. Teams that didn't still had a chance but had to work harder.

Honestly, the biggest problem with DAG is that you're either all-in with it or can't use it. I wouldn't mind being able to slide it into the playbook against 4 or 5 WR sets but don't like it being the only option.

I vote every team in the game (except mine) go to a 100% DAG defense. I've been promoting this for a while now. I think it would be a great idea.

Ya nobody uses good plays. Why would they do that?!

Do you even remember season 8? This is soooo not the same thing. There are legit counters to DAG. There really was no counter to the slams except being better at slamming and praying.

I remember S8 well. http://glb.warriorgeneral.com/game/team.pl?team_id=1202 Was my first gold in GLB1. We didn't SI Slam.

Then you would know it is an absolutely terrible comparison.

The slam wasn't as all powerful in the low level leagues like an A, though - RBs didn't have the skills to not-fumble, or they were too slow, or they weren't breaking tackles. Csonka and his clones, though, had builds with enough on them to make it so that slams were the only way in Pro leagues, though.

Meanwhile, DAG is decidedly less powerful, and more of a "too good, need other options for game balance" strategy

Mhhh, I think it is exactly the same situation as it was in S8^^ It may have changed, but in midseason it was DAG vs DAG and hoping to be the better blitzer

Just because people haven't picked up on the counters to DAG, doesn't mean it was anything like S8. I am sorry but you are stupid if you think it is comparable. You can counter DAG with plays. You could only slow down slamming but you really couldn't stop it without luck.

Well yeah, its obviously always hard to compare an exploited o-Play with a d-Play. But OK, calling ppl stupid that have a different opinion than u to an arguable Statement is ofc also a way to take it
