Is your comprehension that abysmal? You're fighting for the 2-3 seed with the team that beat you 10-0. Ipso facto you're going to be playing them in the playoffs. Just because you can't put two and two together isn't my fault.

Yeah, any game besides SF is a guaranteed win, just like your undefeated season you guaranteed.

We aren't fighting you fool. I don't give a shit what happens as long as I win my division which is guaranteed.

Because we either play Hub C or Squirrels. You don't understand my playoff scenario better than I do, so stop posting,
this is your problem, you think you know other peoples situations better than them. but you don't... so stop posting lol

Top ten team and we probably won't even make the playoffs in our league. This is depressing.

We have four teams in one division in the top 70.... No other division had a team in the top 80.. I hate this structure for this reason.

ladder has no standing in league play... so I don't know why you are mixing the two worlds.

Well if you win out you'll in all likelyhood be tied for 2nd in your division which would then come down to tiebreakers.

You say this, but ladder and league still go together. Your ladder rank is effected by your league rank so you can't say they are two completely separate things.

If we win out it still sucks a good team doesn't get into the playoffs. One nice thing with the way the GLB1 system worked was that the best teams always made the playoffs. This new method, while more realistic, still seems like a step back to me. You can say whatever you want about the playoffs but it went from the best teams making the big game to a scenario like this where a division just gets too stacked. Every one of these teams in our division would be top in the other two.

Don't overthink it - it's not really about "making the playoffs" or not. Ultimately only one team wins the championship, so it doesn't *really* matter which division you're in. They had 14 games to make their case about being good enough to win the league, and couldn't do it. It happens. The problem with the way the GLB1 system worked is lolregularseason. In GLB2, if you want to win the league, you can't sleepwalk through the regular season (unless you are that much better than everyone else in which case it doesn't matter what league structure you use)

Both DD and Maine lost - Alpine only moved up one spot to #2 for now. I'm betting we're right up near #1 in rating though.

This. And I absolutely love this structure. It makes for more interesting final weeks of play imo.

I love the new structure. I (and kjoe) simply hate the fact that the league we started in ended up folding and we got dropped into a division with 3 of the 4 truly competitive teams in the league (Banger from the Beta Division is the only team to beat a team from Gamma all season). We'll just have to deal with it, though.

Hawk last season was brutal. My team won our division with a terrible record, and at least 2 top teams went out before the play-offs.

This season, we got the flaming Carolina Pirates in our division, so no play-offs for us Still, it makes it interesting.

The league structure is my favourite GLB 2 feature.
