In no way is the tournament broken, in fact, it is better that Zorp isn't being counted, but people love to try to go against everything I do, but if this was for you, you would be sending me PMs thanking me.

I'm not always against what you talk about. But, you can't have a team that lost get a second chance while everyone else who has lost not a second chance. You should have just counted the score. Is it really that hard to let Tampa just move on to the next round? If they win the next round, great. If they lost, then they obviously aren't going to be the winner of the Champions Tournament. Just let Tampa move on.

Maybe you aren't getting it, that Tampa v. Zorp game should have never been played...

But,

if you can tell me why Tampa deserved that bye week more than Black Ice Fuego or AGD2D or Tucson then I will keep Tampa in the tourney. How do you know one of those 3 teams (which imo would all beat Tampa AND Zorp [which is all that matters at this point right?]) would not go on to win the tournament? Because of my mistake the true meaning of the tourney won't be fulfilled?

Okay, any team could have played Zorp since you said this was randomized. So, everyone had the same type of opportunity as Tampa so they didn't deserve to have anything. They played a game still, whether rookie or not and it wasn't a blowout so they earned that victory.

This right here if you're confident in this, should just let Tampa try it's chances in the next round. Again, if they lose, so be it. They lost fair and square and their were no second chances for anyone. If they won, they won as an underdog just like Zorp tried to do against Tampa, am I right?

The right thing to do, and the thing I am doing, would be to test Tampa because they didn't have a test in the 1st round,
the fact that the game was close is only a blow to Tampa... Because had Zorp won, guess what? I'm still kicking them from the tourney. And this exact same thing would have happened.

All this entire equation is missing is me fleshing out what my rules were a little bit further, but that isn't really important as this is the first time I'm doing something like this, and mistakes shouldn't be the be-all end all.

In your first response you basically said Tampa got lucky to be matched against Zorp and that is why they should stay. I say rubbish.
In your 2nd response you changed it and said "let Tampa try it's chances", and then you go on to make an irrelevant comment about Zorp.

Sadly, even though Jampy said they won (making a mockery of everyone I assume of defending Zorp) They did lose their match so they can't be the Champion.

Which has a higher resemblance of the team that actually won the trophy, I probably would have let them play.
