I think plateau makes the big name teams / networks a little too powerful, plus a shorter plateau might keep them from raising costs to justify losing out on boosts in accelerated development.



I'm sure there's some truth to what you point out. But I don't build a ton of dots--once I get one to the endgame I like to see it go for awhile!

I wouldn't know, as all my WL dots were the last season not allowed to have the extra seasons of plateau.

shorter plateau just increase the recruiting needs, which honestly would hurt the smaller teams/networks more than the big ones. Trying to rebuild a roster every season back in the pre-plateau days is what drove me to take a 5 season break for any kind of GMing.

Maybe, but it seems like a lot of the same old names up here lately, doesn't it? Kudos to Paris & Somalia for making it, but most everyone else is recycled. Same for the Pro teams likely to promote this season.

this.

without extended plateau i doubt i would have been able to bridge the gap between our first gen and our first farm team (which was created when the first gen started to retire)

but with faster player development wont they hit WL ready dots a lot quicker? so maybe less plateau seasons, however they will be WL ready in Season 5-8 instead of season 11.

Yea, was good for the network teams. Top dodel/ds teams lost but their sister teams won. Probably other networks i didn't realize were networks that had similar things happen
