I'm in Texas too, but here in Austin on campus republicans are definitely in the minority.

College life is pretty convenient for gameplanning though

ahh...i miss college. the Quake 3 demo came out my junior year (when we were taking physical chemistry...BTW P-chem eats trig and bio for breakfast...nothing like triple integrals with trig substitutions on the first day of class). Miami's network was pretty new (the original Miami in Ohio, not Fl) and all the dorms on our end of campus were on the same subnet, so we could run 16 people on a LAN game. I think I had 30k kills in single-player on that game BEFORE I bought the full version, lol.

If GLB existed back then I wouldn't have graduated

WAIT A MINUTE!!! Did you just try and bring politics into this thread? Enough of that, get back to the drama and fighting that's more fun and productive.

And I see you are back up to your old tricks again:

I’m not so sure how much our epic OC contributed but the fact says that you haven’t won anything before the merger. I’m pretty sure that’s what I meant before you went on with your little editing and pasting.

Ugh... I'm stuck with crappy hotel internet for the next 2 months while we complete installation of an inmate tracking system. Upside is I really don't do much other than about an hour a day visit to the facility to check on the electricians, and then sit at the hotel RDP'ing into my office the rest of the day. Plenty of GLB time.

I guess I'm not alone I travel a lot and I totally understand. I once stayed at a hotel in india and I had to pay like 50$ in what they would called "high speed internet". It turned out to be slower than 56k modem, haha.
