Everyone who is smart boosts every season...the really smart ones dont boost to get gold at rookie level.

Nobody said boosting is idiotic, boosting before the end of this season is cause you lose out on training at lower levels, your attributes won't get as high as they could cause of the ALGs. And those teams will be wondering in 6 seasons why they ate losing close games or getting blown out by teams they matchup well with

That's assuming the team will be around in 6 seasons. I know my rookie team wont be.

Then boost away, and have pathetic dots that don't make it past 30. Your money *shrug*

Define pathetic dots? 15-0? In the finals of the rookie tourney? You must mean pathetic compared to por league dots, or level 70 dots... well that's obvious. You know, not everyone has the goal of playing in the lolWL. It is my money and I have much more fun down here and in pee wee than I would beyond in 40+

it really depends on where your train % on your primary or secondaqry, depending, is at, combined with having enough SP to hit the cap. sometimes boosting at day 43 is better, but again it should depend solely on where your train % and SP are at, unless you aren't building your dots for long term.

If building short term and you don't plan on your dots lasting past lv 40, then I don;t see why you wouldn't boost at the start of every season in order to dominate rookie and minors.

but if you're building for pros and hoping for world league, then boosting at any point before day 42 to the end of the season until lv 29 is just dumb on a long term plan because you miss out on good training %, you spend more SP, and you kill the advantage you can ge from the ALGs.

I wouldn;'t mind if 100 was the cap, like it is in Madden, because then eliminating boosting would still give you a competitive build. But GLB has to make money somewhere, hence the boosting. I don't blame them for having boosting since it seems it's their priary source of income.
