I'd disagree.

HHWC was definitely the better team and deserved to win. BDC was fortunate to hang in there for one half. But any time a close game at halftime turns into a 41-0 disadvantage in the 2nd half, there's probably a morale issue at hand.

So no, I'm not blaming the morale spiral for the loss, but I do think the mechanic played a role in the game getting out of reach.

absolutely flat out no disrespect to any team that won. both teams played with the exact same sim and all teams have for the entire ssn. so, it's totally fair.

That said, I've never seen moral death spirals like I have this ssn. My God, the swings are insane.,,,And the points being put up in PO games are just sick 73 points in the 4th Q in the Gurupies/Bulls game, 45 points by Blaze in one Q, 42 by ESL, 41 by Hali.

I think it was worth a few seasons back like season 16 maybe? Because builds are closer now and much better built than 2-3 seasons ago the little morale differences mean more and also since the dots are just plain better, they take advantage of QBs with 60morale throwing to wrs with 50morale and in the 2nd half also like 80 energy or worse. Why you prob see more INTs and long TDs. Just a thought but i don't think morale spirals are quit as bad as they were s16. At least now you can go from 60morale to 95 just by getting an INT an a TD or something. A luck play or two and it recovers super fast
