You are really talking out of your ass on this one, apparently because you don't want to admit how much the increase in pancakes has to do with the Blaze being undefeated. The S13 sim has "hurt (CB) a little more than it helped"? I hope you meant that as a joke. You guys have great builds and a good gameplan, but the facts conclusively show that you have benefited tremendously from whatever changes Bort made. You guys would still be a top team in the S12 sim, but you would not be undefeated. Offensively you are riding the ridiculous number of pancakes to success.
Only person talking out of their ass is you though...in the season 12 sim we would still be undefeated imo, but there is no way to prove that. The rushing game was stronger last season actually btw so stop putting all of our success on that(inb4 pancake rant). We adjusted to the sim once it came around, probably more so than any other WL team, build wise, tactics wise, etc. Please do not jump in and tell me what I think is obviously wrong when you have no idea what goes on with me/PT's team.

If this were true, don't you think the teams you merged would have been better than they were? Seriously, if even your backups were these amazing builds, wouldn't those backups have won trophies and stuff? Obviously CCCC had a strong season, but again, if those backup builds were better than any other team's starters then it seems like they should have been winning gold, or at least already been in the World League.
What? He was talking about the backups on CB..wtf does that have to do with CCCC.

The S13 sim didn't cripple passing, it just made running even easier with all the pancakes. If you guys keep insisting that Blaze would be such a dominant passing team, then do it. Go pass. You're in the playoffs already, so what's the risk? If you believe so much that you could be just as good without running obsessively in a pancake-increased sim, then be my guest.

The LOS battle is more decisive than previous seasons, that's for certain. It used to be much more of a stalemate, regardless of builds. Now a really well built O *or* D line will spell doom for their opponent, especially in the second half. I maintain that the D-line actually has the advantage in Season 13, though I feel certain you will disagree.
A top O-line will beat a top D-line in the current sim.
Wrong on both accounts. The S13 did weaken passing a lot..that isn't really debatable. Running last season was easier imo than this season as well so that kills it even more. Pancakes are not the only thing that make rushing easier, in fact most of the line sim changes turned against the O-line, besides pancakes. Also lol to changing my GP because of you.
And I strongly disagree that a top O-line will beat a top D-line in the current sim.

And stop bringing up the crap about me bragging..because all I said was the sim changes didn't help us this season and actually hurt us a little imo, which I believe to be true. I fail to see what bragging I specifically have done in this thread.

Based on what exactly? Last season there were seven guys averaging 7 or more yards per carry, and ten others averaging 6 or more. If you look at the guys with at least forty carries, there are thirteen averaging 7 or more yards per carry, and twelve others averaging 6 or more. Or if you were talking specifically about the Blaze, your HBs are also averaging more yards per carry this season than the ones you had last season.

Yes, you and PT adjusted to the sim more than any other team. You also have better builds than any other team. In fact, your backups have better builds than any other team's starters. You guys are the greatest team in the history of the world, and no one can rival your brilliance. On the 7th day, God farted the Chocolate Blaze.

I'm saying that if those backups were so godly that they're better builds than any other team's starters, as PT claimed, then shouldn't they have won something last season before the merger?

Please just stop giving your opinion unless you have some facts to back it up. Every statistic I've looked at says that you're wrong, but I'll be glad to reconsider if you have some which support your assertions.

Not because of me. Guys on your team claim that you'd be just as dominant if you chose to be a predominantly passing team. I'm challenging them to back up those words or shut their mouths. If you prove it, then I'll be the first to acknowledge your greatness. Until then don't brag about how you would be such a great passing team if you're not willing to try.

No one disputes that you guys have great builds, but it would only take a little honesty for you guys to admit that you've benefited tremendously from the S13 sim.

Who said we'd be just as good if we were a predominantly passing team? Sure as hell wasn't me. I said if the passing game wasn't a complete embarrasment to the game that we would be able to show just how good our WRs are. The passing game is a completely broken joke right now. The best passing teams are the ones that can consistently catch 4 yard hail mary passes into quadruple coverage. The only thing WRs are good for is burning teams that try to stack against our running game.
I'll let you decide. Here is one of my OGs from the Cs that wasn't good enough to make the cut for the Blaze. It isn't like he was just nudged out either, we have two other OGs that are better than this one on the Cs.
http://goallineblitz.com/game/player.pl?player_id=428358
As for you not thinking we wouldn't be undefeated right now because of our running game. Our defense is the strength of the team. We have given up 2 TDs all season, we are giving up like 6 points per game. We have 218 passes defended, 19 intercetpions, 12 interceptions returned for TDs and haven't given up a single passing TD. Opposing QBs are averaging 36% completion rate against us. Our run defense is extremely stout and our defensive line is good and has always been the strength of the Cs and has only gotten better in the merger.

there's a lot in this thread and a lot of it is just yuck. Though I think it's been mentioned before, and likely in this thread, it's really not that the OLine or DLine have a major advantage in the current sim (though I would give the advantage to DLines if forced to), it's that the whole nature of the current sim is so extreme. Players are too often pancaked and reverse pancaked. Dakar gets plenty of Pancakes, but we sure don't dominate the running game because of it. Still too often (4 straight games of at least 10 TFLs) DLinemen just crush 1 or 2 blockers and make a play. Hell, if it wasn't for Short Yardage Monster, TFLs would be insane with the current sim. I just think the whole blocking dynamic needs to be toned down some. We more often need to see penetration without reverse pancakes. We need to see blockers being turned out of the play rather than plowed over. It's not really that one side has a huge advantage at all. And I really don't think pancakes are up much at all, and if they are it's because of FGs/XPs and because of motivational speaker nerf more than anything else.
