Yeah, I had forgotten to update the 1st post with our Pa Dong game. A SEAPL game was needed in order to set up the Cincy game. Pa Dong was the team that stepped up to the plate after a team or two declined.

1st post should be up to date.

And yes, the defense rules changed this season with the implentation of the World League.

Defense rules are:
1st defense: WL Alpha team
2nd defense: Pro team (any region)
3rd defense: WL Zeta team
4th defense: Pro team (any region)
5th defense: poll of some kind to be determined.

And as far as I know these do not reset of Bonn loses. So, if Minnesota beats us then their first defense would be against a WL Zeta team.

I'm game for whatever I just want there to be rules to minimize the inevitable bitching. Perhaps, DrkSandman can add a caveat to the rules that the 2 Pro challenges cannot repeat region or even have the region thing carry over to the WL teams, dunno, but just throwing out ideas.

Who cares. No one wants to watch a shitty non-wl seapl, opl or whatever team losing by 40. The only team outside of a handful of usapl teams who is sorta worthy is Manu Thunder imo. Manu is real good and will make noise in WL next season. MM is a monster so i see no reason why anyone would question them.

If some kind of other non-WL/usapl/manu team makes a deep run in Hazy's tourney they'll probably turn some heads and maybe get a shot for the next Pro team (any region) challenge


WoC- Are you guys just using Hazy's game as a the defense or doing 2 separate games? Just curious

Yes, we are using the result of the game as both the PTT defense and the Hazy game.

Yeah, it may not have been that dramatic but it was definitely a good game and full of clutch plays. We benefited immensely from the bounces when it came to turnovers.
