I really appreciate all the talk and controversy about my boy Flav Flavor. I just want to say I do play med coverage, my team the Wollongong Hippos only gave up 158.5 yards passing per game. Also we only allowed a league low 2 touchdowns through the air all season. If I saw at any time that my team needed help in the passing game I would have switched my coverage assignment but it seems that the med coverage was what working with my team’s defensive needs.

Further more Tisichase is my teams DC and he’s damn good at it to if I may says so, and he’s just backing his team and the players on it like any good team mate. He may have not had the facts right but he knows that Flav Flavor is team player and is also putting up great numbers. Thanks for supporting my boy Flav Flavor.

Justin5745, thank you for taking time and going back and watching all my tackles I was really interested in how that all broke down, and I look forward to playing you and your team Melbourne Assassins on 6/1.

Finally I must thank the rest of Wollongong Hippos, it was a great season and I can not wait for the next season to start.

I just wanted to say these are my votes if i had to put them in. not the actual team or anything. I was under the impression Mr. Moose wanted to tabulate them.

Yeah, I do want to, though it almost seems we're reaching a consensus here.

I think everyone agrees, not to sure. I like it only because I'm in it, but who wouldn't?

I like it overall, but two things. Jimmy Vulmer in FS and Gunter Fettwanst in DT. Yes, they're on my team, so biased much? But still, they're great players. Would be good in those positions, even if it's as backups.

Flav, just wanted to say glad u could be a man about this whole thing and leave the personal out of it.

Also, i too am looking forward to playing your team. But keep in mind its only a scrimmage game and we'll be trying out new things. Nonetheless tho, it should be fun.

Just my opinion on the Alpha All-Pro team:

Offense:
QB Lyle Bauman - Grinnell, Ryan Mallet - Orlando
Bauman finished the season very strong, taking the lead in yardage and TDs despite a slow start.
Mallet is no-doubt the offensive star of his team, and has led them to a very impressive season.

HB Heath Ledger - Grinnell, Shake n' Bake #20 - Papeete
It feels really cheap to vote for my own player, but Heath really is the standout RB in Alpha Conference.
Shake n' Bake #20 is 3rd in TDs, and plays for the team that did the best job of holding us in check. If not for a missed XP, that game goes to overtime.

FB - Sorry, I don't have the time to look through all of these guys to give them a fair shake. I really appreciate your position, though.

Blame Bort for making it hard to track FBs.

WR Lightning Kong - Grinnell, Rahael Lazer - Perth, Drew Slater - Grinnell, Freeze Totung - Danes, JAMES Bilitnekof - Grinnell
Kong screams possession receiver, and not only leads the league in receiving, but made a hell of a play to keep our undefeated season alive against Papeete.
Rahael has more drops than I would like, and fewer TDs, but you can't deny his yardage and receptions. A good player.
Drew Slater is your classic burner receiver. Great to have. Leads in TD receptions, too.
Freeze might not have the flashy statistics, but he dominated with 16 catches and a TD in our game against the Danes. Top notch player.
JAMES was an amazing slot receiver who had a knack for making the tough TD catch, while also breaking them long.

(Yes, I know, I just named 3 WRs from my own team, but they all had over 1000 yards receiving and at least 9 TD catches. I can't ignore them in the name of being impartial).

TE Barney Rubble - New Caledonia, John Hampton - Amarillo
I originally listed Barney as the #2 WR before I saw that he was a TE. That should speak for itself.
John Hampton is another great TE, just missing out on the TDs that Rubble has.

OT Teevees Frank - Fiji, Joseph Thorbjorn - Perth, Crackdown Beast - Grinnell
Frank has an impressive pancake total. Great RT.
Joseph Thorbjorn is just an impressive player. Doesn't have the huge stats, but that's no way to judge an OL.
Crackdown has such a huge pancake total that you can't ignore it. He mostly plays in clean-up time, though.

OG Mike Towers - Northbrook, Chubs MacGee - Papeete, Box Cylinder - Melbourne
Chubs may be a C in name, but he's a G at heart, barreling through the DL.
Box is the best true run blocking G IMO.
Towers is a good all-around player.

C Orlandu Cidoflas - New Caledonia, Dieter Thomas Heck - Papeete
Heck is the pivot of an excellent OL. Lots of power.
Cidoflas turned at on to end the season, just breaking past Dieter.

Defense:

DE Tweed Cadillac - Grinnell, Boomer McDude - Perth, Nicholas Gresnik - New Caledonia
Tweed is a great pass rusher, notching 12 sacks and a bundle of hurries.
Boomer had a solid season with Perth, but only notched 5 sacks. He did have a ton of hurries, however.
Gresnik had an impressive 87 tackles.

DT Bo Oso - Melbourne, Clay Davis Jr. - Grinnell
Bo had an awesome season for Melbourne, getting 7 sacks, an INT, and 3 FFs
Playing in only 14 games, Clay got 6 sacks and a forced fumble on the season.

NT Charles E. Greene - Papeete, Rapey McRaperson - Grinnell
Charles had 5 sacks, 45 tackles, 20 TFL, 1 INT, and 1 FF from the NT spot. Very impressive.
Rapey had 5 sacks, 30 tackles, 18 TFL, 2 FF. Also not bad.

Sorry, this whole section is too hard to comment on because you can't sort by position, suffice it to say, you all played very well
-------
MLB John Muffali - Eastern Savages, George Patton - Guam
OLB Mav Max - Danes, Real-Deal Jonce - Darwin, Barney Manachanter - Northbrook
CB TEE BONE - Melbourne, Antonio Vivaldi - Danes, Jeremy Bush - Papeete
FS Dotar Sojat - Grinnell, Chad Nole - Melbourne
SS Jody Rock - New Caledonia, Weapon Plus - Perth
-------

ST:
KR Willie Reid #26 - Orlando
High avg. return with 1 KR TD.

PR Laurence Naughton - Grinnell
2nd most punts returned with by far the largest avg. return. Also took one to the house.

K Spike Geoffrey - Grinnell
Spike connected on an impressive 82 precent of his kicks for 41 total field goals including one from beyond 50 yards

P Kyle Malone - Grinnell, Christy Brown - Northbrook
He's the only punter I've watched closely, and he has a true knack for dropping the ball by the goal line.
Brown has a very impressive average, which can't be ignored.

Wow, thanks bullet.. I honestly didn't know that Orlandu was second in the conference in pancakes until you mentioned him for the All-Pro team.

Last scrimmage he got 3 tackles and a sack too. lol.

Bulletbait, there is nothing wrong with voting on that many on your own team 'cause lets face it, many on your team really ARE that good.

Thanks for noticing Nicholas track record and giving him some credit.

And Orlandu, I think it is time thst you look closer at yourself, what you are seeing there is a really good player

Thanks for the love. But there are other free safeties who deserve to be there...

...but Gunter is a phenomenal build at DT.

And hell, I made Vulmer with the original intention of being a special teamer (a David Tyree-type and we needed a backup safety at the time). So to even be in conversation on this board is great.
