I'm awaiting the opportunity to have him insert foot in mouth!

I love flying under the radar. A teams from last season only see the records but have no clue about this league last season or the situations concerning some teams. I think they will be quite surprised to find that there are a few AA teams that had "off" seasons so to speak, but, will be just fine this season. What you did in A means absolutely nothing. We won our league in season 6 and barely made the AA playoffs in 7. Some due to my own issues with health and not gameplanning, but, also due to the fact that the teams you run into are a lot better than you think they are. Dont be dismissive of teams who have already been through the AA wars already and played teams like Guam and Honolulu, teams you would not have a prayer against.

We already have a feeler on some AA teams based on playing against them in season 6.
We never said that season 8 was going to be easy; plus having a little fun talking smack to pass the time until the season starts is all in good fun too.

I can see how the Sawfish and a couple of other teams moving up from A would be confident. You already know what to expect for the most part. And you guys gameplan well so it wont be too big of a stretch for you. Just dont be too confident about getting a home playoff game. There are 4 teams already here who are pretty well loaded. But some of the others are really funny to read. Based on level averages alone, some people are going to find that they are in for a long season.

never would be over confident moving up a league and getting a home spot, i do think that we have a team that could pull it off though, i have faith in my boys, it should be a great season in Alpha.. lots of contenders here

it's definitely possible--HDW got moved up from Oceania A1 two seasons ago and then got the two seed last season, being promoted to AAA1. They disbanded obviously, but it just shows that it's not impossible. Look at what the Mofas have been doing lately.

Yet AA1 has great talent and I don't think any one can top the Killers and even the Tigersharks if they get back on track again.
