+1, this is a great suggestion. Make the league championship game a bowl game, and split the stadium in half. I'd be interested to hear your thoughts on what the stadium should look like (maybe the union of the stadiums of the two participants, instead of a set stadium?) but overall this is a great idea.

The thread 50/50 Split for League Championship Revune has been merged into this thread
I'm sorry if this is epic or already mentioned. There is not search feature and I could not find it but I am almost positive it would have been mentioned.
If 2 teams get to the league championship and both are undefeated... who gets home game? According to the rules now its based off of points allowed. That's fine and dandy but what about the difference in conference difficulty. We all know there is a difference and the team that had an easier time will usually win default due to this.
How about the argument that a team in a tough conference goes 15-1 but the other team goes 16-0 but was in a weak conference. The 16-0 is rewarded with all the money just because they got lucky with the draw of conference?
Lets compare this to any major football venue.
Superbowl - This is a game designed to be played on neutral field. No one cares who the better seed is, or the better record. They get split revenue and split ticket sharing. If you went 16-0 and other team went 8-8... still shared revenue.
NCAA Championship - Again.. this is designed to be on a neutral field. Both teams get a set amount of cash for playing in the game. As well as equal tickets to sell....
So here is my suggestion...
Rather than split the revenue down the middle and concessions down the middle.... since that might be a coding issue. Allow both teams to have "home" field. This will allow both teams to sell tickets to the SUPER DOME and both have concessions... thus making it equal for the Conference Champions...
LETS MAKE THIS HAPPEN!!!

or better yet
guaranteed sellout at 3x automatically for both teams since it is the championship game and those always sell out at premium prices, although if both teams are undefeated they should be able to sell out at those prices anyway more than likely

This is a good fix as well so that there is no issue with having to adjust the code... just run a script for all teams in the League Championship to get 3x. I like it.
