I can't wait to play Melbourne tomorrow.

These guys, who have allowed 47 rushing yards all season, are going up against the #1 rushing attack in the league. It should be rather interesting.

where do the numbers come from? the league home page has mobile bay as the number 1 passing D. we've given up the fewest yds total, yds per game, and the fewest passing TDs and ur rankings have us as the #2. same thing with rushing we're #7 in yds allowed total and in game and #8 in rushing TDs allowed and you have us as the #9 rush D. you've probably already explained it, but i haven't been keeping up with this. mind breaking it down 1 more time?

oh snap. i didn't even look at the week. our game was showing that it had simmed on the homepage and when i looked in here the standings were showing as a new post so i just figured that they were the new ones. my bad. i'll shut up now!

Orcland vs Majuro

This is a good rivalry from last season. I wouldn't get too attached to that number 1 overall defense rating. The only way to stop us from putting up a bunch of yards on you is to give up all your points to our punt returner.

Something important seems to be missing from this formula... the Goodfellas have scored way more TD's than anyone else, due to 44 TD's from defense and special teams. I've not checked, but even if most of these probably occured against the gutter teams, most of our points (as the alleged #1 offense) also came against those teams... and 44 TD's is way too many to ignore... no one else has even half that many non-offensive TD's. I'm really not seeing how the PIGS have almost an entire point on Melbourne.

I suppose that'll take care of itself later today though...

You are right, I don't think special teams nor defense yards are figured in here. That would add a lot more work and get messy. It is a good system to give us an idea, but like the BCS, it isn't perfect.

I for one enjoy looking at it with all of it's imperfections

You are right, I don't think special teams nor defense yards are figured in here. That would add a lot more work and get messy. It is a good system to give us an idea, but like the BCS, it isn't perfect.
