If I read this correctly the formula is for a OT run blocking bar only. Correct?
if so has anyone worked out the formula for a run blocking Guard?

Yes
It's the same I believe.

This formula does not work for any of my OTs

unless when you run the formula a 57.9 rounds up to a 60 on the bar

and a 69.155 rounds to 72 on the bar

Are you calculating the Pass block or the run block bar?

i always saw the blocking bar as your blocking technique not necessarily how well you block so you could add blocking technique to your formula

This thread was created before there was a seperate run blocking and pass blocking bar.
The game creators never had anything to do with it.


It was made solely for the purpose of figuring out how the game computed the blocking bar. It was only an exercise just for kicks and grins so people would know what their bar would look like if they added x amount of points to attributes x and z.

Bort has since switched to run block and pass block and changed the formula so this thread is now obsolete.
