Also, what's with Illinois handing Cinci's QB his best game of his career in FB, then losing to freaking Bradley University in bball? WTF Illinois? Not an easy school to root for...

Last night's win made it a little easier. I grew up a couple of blocks from Bradley, so that loss was still kind of fun for me, but...yeah. Hopefully they get it together.

hey speak, is Zook out or is he coming back for another year?

I think he'll be back next year. He got another good recruiting class. Patience is wearing thin, but securing a top 10 recruiting class will buy him some time.

If they still blow next year, he's done, IMO.

Zook is the ultimate set up man. If he gets booted after next year, someone will walk into a situation similar to what Urban Myer did at Florida (not as good, but similar)

It's too bad they couldn't hire him just to be a recruiter. And too bad he can't seem to win despite having a stacked roster.

they will blow next year. That's alright though. That gives the recruiting class from this past season to get ready. I am excited to see what our freshman QB from this past season, Nathan Scheelhaase, is going to do. Dude ran a 4.5 in High School (which is what Pat White ran).


And we locked up the #1 TE in the country, so that'll be fun
