I tried to stay out of things. But hey, lets play a game of comparing like opponents:

Vs High Plans:
GCC: 5.4 YPC, 23/36, 6.1 Yards per pass, 38 Points
RUS: 4.5 YPC, 13/31, 4.6 Yards per pass, 13 Points

Vs Killer Bees:
GCC: 4.2 YPC, 26/38, 5.1 Yards per pass, 27 Points
RUS: 3.0 YPC, 18/42, 3.5 Yards per pass, 17 Points

Vs San Dimas:
GCC: 4.0 YPC, 17/27, 5.3 Yards per pass, 31 Points
RUS: 5.4 YPC, 16/37, 3.2 Yards per pass, 17 Points

So basically, claiming you have a better offense by virtue of scoring more touchdowns is faulty, since that vaunted offense doesn't seem to show up when it matters. I'll admit, I, as Gold Coast's OC, laid a big, fat egg against ya'll, and against Eaton, and commend both teams for shutting us down like that. However, is it truly fair to knock us for not going out and trying to stat pad against weaker teams just so we can come on the forum, puff out our chests and claim superiority over others?

Yes, your defense shut down our offense when we played. Good job on that, it isn't easy to do. Heck, you guys do have a good defense too, I'll even say that. However, I won't say it is better than ours. Best I'll give you is equal.

To the rest of the members of the Tractors, I wish you luck when we play again. Tyrant, same to you. Sure, we lost the fight during the regular season, but we don't plan to lose in the offseason. We've knocked off teams far superior to us in the past in the playoffs -- don't you think we're capable of knocking off equally skilled teams?

I'm looking forward to the playoff rematch, Tractor. And possibly Eaton, too -- Gmat, I'd love a chance to go head to head against you, offense vs defense. See if your guys can put up an equally impressive showing. It'll be a good time for all

@ the stat padding: We have all played the same exact opponents so don't say any thing about stat padding. We both have one more team left to play on which we can stat pad.

You played them first game, they have obviously gotten much better. I would like you to play them now.

Vs. Killer bees:
Fair enough

Vs. San Dimas saints.

Ok so you picked two teams which we lost against and one you played in the beginning of the season. Ok. That's fine.

Vs Eaton Beavers:
RUS: 3.2 YPC; 17/37; 5.3/a; 23
GCC: 1.8 YPC; 18/34; 5/a; 3

Vs Jinx:
RUS: 3.6YPC; 27/37; 6.3/a; 28
GCC: 3.3YPC; 19/36; 6/a; 16

Now lets compare against the cupcakes (Doing just scores):
Against malice: RUS 42 - 42 GCC. About equal though we played them early in the season.

Against Thundercats: RUS 45-38 GCC

Against Congo Death: RUS 58 - 35 GCC (I had to check this one out. Our offense completely dominated them. We had more passes AND more rushes then you and performed better then you in both categories)

Against Cannibals: RUS 56 - 45 GCC (7 less passes for us, 13 more rushes)

I find it interesting why you decide to exclude the cupcakes. They rarely change and are a great reference point. Especially since you can see that we controlled the tempo of the game and were more productive at the same time.

You've got a camels game in 2 days. We'll see how your offense does then.

And our offense does show up when it matters. We have never once been held to less then a touchdown. The two games that we've lost have both been 2 TDs and one FG. Your offense on the other hand has been held to 2 TDs and 4 FGs in 3 games which is less than us in two. Not to mention both of our losses were to 4th and 5th place respectively and yours were to a 1st, 6th, and 7th team.

I'd give you equal offense but you are inconsistent. Don't expect to ride through the playoffs with an inconsistent offense.

As for defense being equal, lol. We allow 10.3 points per game. You allow 16.5. You have only held two opponents to under 10 points. We have done it to 6.

Here's a breakdown by game:
Point range - RUS - GCC
0 - 2 - 0
1-9 - 4 - 2
10-19 - 6 - 6
20+ - 1 - 5

And the reason I exclude cupcakes is because those don't truly show your team's ability, I feel. I know I, for one, don't often try to run up scores against cupcakes, mainly because (at least, it used to) gas starters. I'd rather have less points against a cupcake in that regard. As for inconsistent? I wouldn't quite say that. I'd say we got gameplanned well for a couple of games.

Pretty much, Gold Coast, Tractor, and anyone else making the playoffs is a good team. Sometimes, good teams just plain have bad games. Both Tractor and Gold Coast had them. Ours are just much more recent. Both of us have played well against good teams, both of us have had bad games against teams we should have done much better against.

So, in the end, I'm just saying that the playoffs are going to be a hoot here.

Trust me, tractor doesn't bother with the cupcakes either. To say that you could have run it up more, so could have we. As it stands though, you have a worse offense then us.

Mistype, I had meant to say offense. I was basically saying that you guys had a good D and definitely did shut us down. Then I meant to say that you guys also have a good offense, but that I don't feel it is better than ours. More consistent, maybe. Better? not quite

But yeah. As far as I'm concerned, I'm done here. It's just going to be each of us butting our heads with each other, and my opinion isn't changing. I doubt yours is changing. So lets just wait for the playoffs and see how things go then. Yes, I'm the type that doesn't enjoy debating a point just for the sake of debate. If there's no chance to change someone's opinion, I just toss in the towel.

You can change my mind, however, there was only one good point you have brought up and that is the Bees. Other then that, I do not think any of your offense's stood out more then ours
