It definitely looks like you see QB's fail some of the pass arc checks over the middle while in the pocket, but still make solid throws deep on the sides. So far I'm not seeing this be consistent. QB's shouldn't have super high completion rates vs LB's or whatever like we mentioned anyways... almost 70% for a non-star is pretty OP in my opinion.

It would help the analysis if dredgar would stop rushing so much and getting TDs, lol.

Lmao, sorry it was my default gameplan. I could probably set up an all pass just for evaluations.

awww @cdog you guys were in the pro set and didn't add HB Screen Weak

Changes look pretty cool to me, only thing i would look at is any catches behind the LOS should get that balance buff instead of only screens

Pocket Awareness not being an ignored stat is a good change and giving more weight to pass power is always a plus.

Screens have been a big part of my offenses for a long time so its great to see they are getting buffs.

ZS and EOTP are less buffs and more just a simplification of the ability which is great for new players.

It looks like the QB isn't trying to rocket the ball over the middle right to LB's anymore. Also I think the weather is playing a role in how the QB's are performing.

once again 3 INT though. So thats the standard to throw a minimum of 3int.

Was decreasing On The Run really necessarily? I've never seen anyone on here complain about that before.

This one also has me confused-
Fixed a bug that was making early receiver awareness rolls too easy when adjusting to errant passes, specifically when facing away from the ball

Why was that necessary? Were people complaining about that?

I think my QB was the only one with high completion percentage. Most others are only around 60% which is not high at all. Now i understand fixing the WR issue if the knew it was there. it was a bug, fix it. But the on the run change didnt make sense.

IDK, comp% is low compared to the NFL, and passing pales in comparison to rushing already. Anyone who decides not to feature their offense around a RB is penalized by Vet.

QB's needed to not throw near 70% completion (and dominate vs LBs I think most of us agreed on) so far this looks like a step was taken in fixing that... That being said, right now you all are playing in snow storms, you have a large penalty to Accuracy, Consistency, Awareness, and Sprinting. Another gripe several of us had was Passing feeling OP in the snow too.

I'd like to see scrims tomorrow once weather resets to get a better judgement on the changes and more than just 2 games to watch. If the dial was taken too far, they can always just turn it back a notch to get balance if need be.

But you are throwing against dots built to force TO's and playing in bad weather, I'd argue that the defensive guys are working as designed not that your QB is playing badly... at least as I'm seeing so far.

even if i take out the three turnovers, throwing 50% both games does not seem normal at all. if it was around 60% sure not to bad considering. Now i will say it seems passing is down universal regardless of defense type. So sure maybe we all are just going to have lower scoring games. I am just saying the changes maybe need to be dialed back a smidge. It really does look like all offenses are going to have to be 70% run teams or be bad.

Run scrims tomorrow once the weather resets to Sunny and do some against a variety defenses, so far you faced Zone and Hybrid Zone/Man in bad weather so I think it's askewing our judgement. Right now I think the intentions were good and in the right direction, but if it needs dialed back we'll figure it out pretty fast and push for a quick fix.

What is this based on? If a LB is getting passes throw on him at a 70% clip, then the build has issues. Both Cov LBs on my teams last season gave up around a 50% comp%. One had 20 ints, and the other had 11 ints. LBs that can also cover receivers aren't a high hurdle. Now can you have a LB with blinding speed, who can shutdown the run, all while being Deion Sanders on pass cvoerage, no. But no position can do it all.

Passing was already nerfed multiple times the last 25 seasons, and it's not only is passing arc not fixed...it's arguably worse than before due to the other nerfs.
