And at this point they were basically sophomores doing this and it still worked... against all star defenders and without any pass blocking at all (run blockers get more pancakes, thus making the all star game). As the Brontosaurus GM and the previous owner of an Ice League team that did nothing but pass, I know how easy it can be, I just prefer a gameplan that represents my style of football.

Plus, it works better than you think.

As a real life coach that runs triple option and wing t concepts, you just made me shed a tear of joy. Check out the Grape Apes man, we are about 90-95% run most games.

In general, absolutely. In rookie? Pass.

I actually prefer to run it, and even in rookie run balanced offenses. I just know it'd be better to pass it all the time, or a majority of the time.

Probably a build thing. Passes always bounce off your receivers and I suspect you didn't invest nearly enough in pass technique, receiving hands, and catch in traffic. Maxing out leadership first thing in rookie burned too much SP for you to pass that much, so it's probably still better for you to run first and pass opportunistically, at least until you've caught up in those 3 stats.

Actually, my recent scrimmages have had decent completion percentage. Might be the chemistry hit in the real games.

eh, in rookie it's more about spamming select good pass plays and not killing your momentum. I've had guys with 0 investment do well with cpu or worse receivers.

The one thing that is probably holding cyber back at the moment is good pass plays today are not what they used to be, and he's been out of the game a while now. Pruning out some bad ones and finding more exploity ones other teams used against him will probably lead the % up.

If you're not gonna be passing a lot past rookie, be sure to respec that back out after you get done

I thought this too at first, but I scouted the game and while there were a few plays I don't agree with, the big takeaway is that the good plays he called didn't work. He ran trips TE Flag and trips WR Post 7 times each and targeted the TE on the corner route, but completed only 1/14 for 4 yards.

And after watching the actual plays, every single time the receiver has his hands literally on the ball and it's a "unable to secure due to nearby defense." If he does a scrim right now I'm 99% sure those 3000 SPs will make a noticeable difference.
