These changes are great for my old LZ2 team with Morn Hyland running inside.

Though the new 3WR PA play is tailor made for a WR3 Belgarion-type to dominate.

you misunderstand, i said that for them to be able to fix all these issues in one offseason makes me feel jipped for all the other offseasons. i clearly know it takes them time to really fix some stuff, but i was just calling them lazy because as a user, it is my job to do nothing but complain about a product (if you don't know where that line came from your dead to me)

Since toughness is cheap, does that mean toughness was nerfed?

If they evened out the rolls based on SP cost, then it’s a buff to Intimidation/ nerf to Toughness.

OSIRIS should be loving these changes since he has consistently used Inside Rushing on First Down to setup his Passing game.

Hopefully the D pursuit angles are a nerf to Outside Rushing enough that the risk / reward of Inside Rushing becomes more palatable.

Between that change and the intimidation buff... It means that OLines are probably about to get wrecked. S* DLineman should have just become even more powerful with those changes along with the power change. It will be interesting to see how all of these changes change the sim.

This. I believe this is what's happening, and it's a needed change. Simmy sim sim...

Overall, incredible changes this time around in my eyes. Some of the most eye-rolling issues were the lack of a need to ever invest in pass blocking and the frustration with these 100 sprint / 100 cond / 100 power rush backs. The new pursuit angles should lead to more gang tackling by the defensive backs instead of them taking stupid lines that always give up 80 yard touchdown runs after the LBs fail to make the tackle.

And play action is just fun, think we could all agree the sim just needs some freshness and a fun injection.

Could even be considered more than a straight buff / nerf to Intimidation/ Toughness.

Intimidation now effects multiple players around the Intimidator. That’s an AoE buff for all you Fantasy MMORPG guys.

Intimidation just got really, really interesting.

My Intimidation caps are doo-doo. Never really felt like an important stat until now.

I like the Blocking Tech Change. A future tweak could be something like adjusting the Tech rolls during the play by the difference in Power. Thus a Pass Rushing DL could overwhelm the Technique of the OL by Power creating the need for the OL to pass a Balance check to continue with Technique.

The current change is certainly good enough to change up the sim (hopefully).

But on a serious note. I am wondering how this balance thing is going to effect the power of my offensive line...seems like it could be a buff to me?


edit: doh nevermind...its only a pass blocking change...

Hopefully we all still can make Rob work for it but this is definitely an assault on rushing... Seems like rcake numbers are considerably up along with better pathing... Outside rushing may not provide nearly the home run power that it used to. I am not sure that the changes made are going to hurt AA much at all unless their S* receiving cast gets their morale limited and suddenly is not catching everything.

really wish you could make players on the fly as i have so many ideas for a team now.
