This is right in a lot of ways but left isn't just socialism/comunism, this is the more authoritarian part of the left, i consider myself a center-left libertarian, i believe that the unbalanced exposed by the marxism should help to evolve capitalism, being a bit more humanitarian, i respect the right to private property, and that most of the areas should be privatized, but i don't believe on the invisible hand of the market, true free market, in my opinion, benneficiates those who are already rich, the government should help to balance some things.
Conservativs believe in less government but more on the economy, i don't agree with their views on the social side, and a lot of them are actually disguised reactionaries, "make america great again" seems way more reactionary.
One of the problems is that people aren't honest politically, with their own views and the others, if i just say "there is racism in the world and it needs to be fixed", i am automatically labeled as a left socialist/communist.
Also, one can have different ideas, a government can take left and right measures, it isn't so black and white.
Sorry i didn't understood what you meant by what Bernie says, you mean balanced positions between left and right?
To me the ideal model is the Nordic, at least the better one, you guys should take a look on the nordic capitalism.
people like to throw the nordic system out there but it can't work in the US for multiple reasons. not only would it not work here, it's starting to fail there as immigration starts to hit them. Socialism CANNOT work long-term, it goes against human nature.
