Step 1 - Log into GLB2 for the first time in months
Step 2 - Pick a Senior League team with lots of open holes
Step 3 - Beat up on GE... https://glb2.warriorgeneral.com/game/game/514075

Come on GE, you can't make it this easy!

Welcome back Air!

Your new team couldn't beat your old team today though.

GE is having the best season yet in SL actually. He hasn't ever finished better than 2-12 and he already has 2 wins.

WR Eddie Souza broke the receiving yards in a game earlier this season (203 yrds), but Downtown TB just blew it wide open with over 300 yards to go with a rec tying 4 tds. Yes, it is a day for the deep ball.

Well, Eug now solely holds the record for 4 titles in a row. Wasn't sure how this was gonna pan out -- Sask beat Eug the previous 2 times they met in the finals. Sask had a great team this season (even with the low chem) and will challenge next season.

I update season records almost entirely with some of special note such as Cincinnati's futility for being the first team ever to score less than 100 points, RevCake records have been entirely rewrote (actually I haven't finished all 10 new place holders, but Derek Wolfe's place in history has practically been erased in 1 season).

And let the lobbying begin for PaulM's awards. Here are a few nominations to get the ball rolling:

Fat Man: Mr. Bill (reprise) or Cheeseburger, Cheeseburger, Pepsi (I think I am leaning towards Mr. Bill)

Barry Sanders: Dung Attack or Saul Gud (the best challenge yet to Dung Attack's dominance)

Sticky Hands: Space Cowboy (Eddie Souza and "Downtown" TB miss out)

Laser Arm: Jesus (of course) or Ken "the Snake" (Jesus! did Jesus grab this again?)

Top Return Man: C Munchies, Marcus Blood or Get Your Freak On (Freak On is slightly more deserving)

Golden Boot: Mason "Crosshairs", Kickin' It in KY or Freak Out! (tough call - I don't consider playoffs, but if did Mason clinched it in Finals)

Mean Joe G: James Falkland, Nose Hacker, Girl at a Party, Oscar the Grouch (Falkland or maybe Girl me thinks)

Mr. Lockdown: Linda Richman or James Brown HTP (JBHTP usually wins every other season)

Butkus: Swartsgraf, Keep Pounding, Lee Eller, Jasper Dodson, Justice Oneal, Heat Seaker, Rudy "SP Holcomb (way hard, "shrug")

Def MVP
: SS Mason Schmitt or SS Eric Turner or any of the above

Off MVP: hmmmmm, WR Space Cowboy or HB Dung Attack or QB Jesus or Mr. Bill or . . . .

Greybeard Cup: WR Space Cowboy over K Mason "Crosshairs" Crosby and QB Jesus

He was 9th in KR avg and 7th in PR avg among players that got significant attempts. His yard totals are high just because he got the reps on a 2-12 team. The 3 that I nominated each had better avg in both KR and PR. That said, I want folks to nominate other players and then back up their cases. So I really like that you threw his hat into the ring.

It helps when folks back up their choices with reasons to sway other voters and makes for fun discussion. For example I appreciate that you mentioned Saul Gud's Broken tackles and I assume you think that that out ways his higher number of fumbles? So please, TNuc, tell me why you think Oscar the G deserves the Def MVP, b/c that is the hardest one for me and so far has the largest pool of nominations with some very different criteria. Also I usually think that GLB2 stats are more likely to be accurate than Scout and that makes a big difference for Oscar's stats.

Butkus award too -- why Swartzgraf?

Also CB Stop Sign deserves to be nominated as well I believe for Mr. Lockdown and Def MVP (Nash def did surprisingly well on def this season).
