Just think about all the break block buffs (especially for DBs) and the heavy blocking cost change...obviously that leads to some bad baaaad things. Well, at least for rushing teams Smartest thing to do is simply to abondan the run as long as it stays this way. The elder teams can only pray for some logic buffs

Take a look what a team 5 tiers under me (Seasoned) did to the third ranked team in Journeyman.

Pathetic what they can do to Power Running backs and an all running O-line. Almost the same amount of REVPNKD as PANCAKES

That and we still can't figure out how to pitch a ball I guess.

They had zero problems passing the ball the whole game....

I don't want to be rude - but you have a full CPU O-line, WRs, most of your TEs, yet you are 9-6.

Running at lower levels is impossible. With power running being useless at less than 60 and almost no way to break tackles, blockers unable to pancake and constantly getting revcake, and the improved outside contain logic, and the DE elusive pass rush bug, rushing in the first two tiers is like a guessing game that you can't win. They tried to fix it with the new cutting logic but that's debatable that it might have made rushing worse off, ironically, and tried to nerf passing by fixing underthrown passes, which did not seem to do anything. Maybe we will get better blocking logic, but until then making an all run team is like an investment that you have no way of knowing will pay off. Addressing logic issues is tough because you have to test to see if the fix works correctly, and might run into issues like we did this past offseason when cutting logic was "fixed".

GG, that rush TD in the 3rd really turned the tide.

yes, definitely seemed to be the changer of the game. Before that I thought you had us.

Purely anecdotal, but I'd say Powerbacks don't get good until Seasoned at the earliest. Around the 55-65 range I started to see my powerbacks drag guys for an extra yard or two. Around 75-80 is when tackle breaking became possible. 90+ is when tackle breaking was something you could start gameplanning around. (running the ball from a bit further away than normal)

I'm saying Seasoned because of my team, and the unique situation my RB's are in. It's meant I can sacrifice other skills for extra power rushing. For a more conventional usage of a power back, maybe more like Journeyman.

I think generally HB running is a little weak in rookie and sophomore. Wish they made it a littl stronger without a buff to QB running.

I saw this today and I had to make sure I was watching a rookie game...great vision to take it outside and the speed to finish the job...

GG Columbus! That kind of running would have never happened before this off-season. It almost felt like we had GL HB sweep strong back for a minute!

No shit. Using no traits it costs 80k SP to get to 80 run block tech. With those same points a defensive player can get 90 brb and 90 hg.

Except not a ton of players have caps at 90 BRB and HG

GG Strange - was a close game for most of it. Sacked us 13 times which was rough.
