I don't think you quite understand. I don't mind playing up a tier at all, but there is no way that we should be in range of a top 5 team in those higher tiers. Hell, I think Hub is actually in range of a top 5 PRO team. How stupid is that?

Has nothing to do with that. A journeyman top 5 in their tier shouldn't be within 20 ranks of a seasoned top 5 in their tier.

Plain and simple your just trolling here. This matter was brought and argued in season 6 as well. I was arguing against this bullshit system then and I wasn't a team owner. If you can't see the flaw in how this system is designed with an interior ranking system that means nothing and pairing against teams that are 70k sp higher then take the blinders off.

Doesn't matter how shitty or how good someone else is. 70k point builds is a ton. Especially when seasoned only has spent about what 80k total at this point vs pro spending about 150k. Up 1 tier maybe but if the system and game are so bad that a top 5 journeyman is in range of a top 5 seasoned. Something is wrong.

The chances of you being within 20 spots of the next highest tier top 5 if you weren't protected for 2 seasons would be much lower.

One of the problems is season 7 teams has stayed pretty solid as we only lost 1 league each year already. The sophomores lost 2 leagues after rookie ball. Journeyman only has 3 leagues - so 36 teams total. Pro only 2 leagues so 24 teams.

Be it changes to the Sim, s*availability (as some teams have reset then didn't get the s* they wanted so are waiting another season - wouldn't be surprised to see 2 rookie leagues fold again) or whatever happens but teams are folding above and below us faster then we are.

And in truth I bet most the season 7 top 20 wouldn't have minded playing + a tier +/- 10 ranks from the start of Sophomore. But after my last post (see above this) its more Sim related and teams feeling like folding resetting is their best option.

Then when rookie doesn't go as smooth as they thought, reset again to try for championship.

You guys are acting like you are the first Seasoned teams to have to play top 5 teams a tier up. Last season alone DD faced the #3,#4, and #6 teams from the tier above plus numerous Vet teams.

DD was in pro last season? Not sure how you played up a tier plus Vet teams seeing that up a tier is Vet. Looking over your S7 schedule, since I assume that's what you were meaning to say, you played 0 teams in the top 5 of a tier above you and maybe 2 top 10 teams from a higher tier.

DD was Journeyman, I think you are thinking about DD2.0.

Yeah, I was looking over 2.0. The name change to DD 3.0 threw me off on which one was your old team

We all knew this was coming. Just ride it out. Although it is hitting us a bit harder than others, it's just part of being released from our safe haven. This is the worst of it. I think I lost almost every ladder game in the first half of last season with the Kiwis and then we started to do better in the 2nd half of the season.

That's my most embarrassing win of the last two seasons. Only beating that team by 7 was quite pathetic.

I don't have much of a problem playing one or two tiers up. Just wish there was more balance to how the draws are decided. It's annoying seeing MEM draw 3 straight pro teams while Hub for example draws two seasoned and 1 journey team.

Looks like pretty much everyone is losing anyway except for Hub. Seattle is 0-3 in ladder, SoA is 0-3, Village is 1-2, then you guys are 0-2.

We are not even 1/3 of the way through the season yet, it'll even out eventually.

Yeah I would think so. Just at the moment it's frustrating.
