And really, the only time I'd need more OT's is when the rollout actually works and forces the poor guys to run. Otherwise, stamina holds up fine.

But I really wish I could dump that last non-KR WR...

The extra OTs aren't for playing OT. They're for playing BTE to free up the TEs to play other positions than TE more

And for Return team LOL PANCAKES!

Already have that.

In the scrim with Jampy's 42, Yorick had 165 pancakes.

That's like more than an IHOP at Sunday brunch...

As to being a "pure" rushing team... I don't think that is ideal.

You can make your blockers have triple the run skills than the passing skills, but your QB can still heave the ball in the current sim.

I'd assume you'd Gold Get Low too. Third SA is probably Beat down for the longer down time on Returns where a guy sometimes would have time to get back up and make a play.

That team would suck. Without balance anyone can stop a run team with the right defense.

It's not been tried yet. Yorick's the closest attempt at it so far.

You clearly don't understand OOP. And you just don't get building all together.

Is OOP not a 5% decrease to skills? I recall that being what the testers said it was. Show me a blocking WR that has better run-blocking caps than a TE or FB with a 5% penalty. Also show me where that same WR has access to run-blocking special abilities.

Relax dude. These are no small space LBs going against TEs. Ofc. were gonna get caked. Thing is they weren't You're Next type cakes so the impact was minimal.

Well, other than the part where your defense had no morale left before the 1st quarter was over...

You got thrashed 97-7. Minimal impact indeed.

Who has even built a blocking WR at this point?

Are you being fucking serious?

And why would you swap our TE's for OT's... OT's aren't going to be magically better than TE's at blocking.

Did you even play GLB1? Why are you making ridiculously huge reaches about building in this game with different positions.

Romo.

Only reason I could see using your OT as a TE is in GL. Unless your are worried about the cap problem I guess and didn't want to sign many WR's.

The only WR Yorick has who plays on offense has 50 run block power and 30 technique and basically really ruins the day of whatever poor CB is assigned to cover him.

Guess I haven't paid attention to Romo's squad. And even then... that's one? I assume they do OK. And I still have a feeling that he's built up receiving skills on those WRs as well... so it's not like they're 100% run blocking.

I just don't buy a TE at that position doing any better... which is the assertion that he's making.

The OTs are for stamina. The assumption is that without WRs, you'd run TEs and/or the spare FB at WR. You put the OTs in at BTE to conserve TE stamina since you can only carry 3 of them.

This isn't for a standard offense Homage. I'm speaking to the idea of going balls-to-the-wall on trying to exploit the pitch/rollout offense. For that, you want the OTs, TEs, and extra FB instead of WRs. If Corndog would let us sign 5 TEs or 4 FBs, I'd get 2 more TEs or FBs instead of OTs, but the OTs are the next best option as roster limitations currently exist.

Any team that's lining up right now and running zero passing plays per game, and carrying Wide Receivers on the roster, isn't maximizing what they're trying to do.
