I noticed that running one of the dime cover 2's yesterday against 3 WR that the HB was always wide open going strong side. Will have to look for that.

..Should stick this backpeddling in the development leagues until panned out. I'd still like to know if footwork and quickness rolls are powering this stupid turn 20 yards down field on a route. It seems like the change was to decrease forum complaints about TURNING. Like getting caught turning just as a guy hooks or curls, and the CB is kinda forced to turn turn turn a lot more.


They can evaluate plays and change the timing of route cuts and the initial turn. None of this was needed.

On top it was fixable with builds. CB's aren't exactly demanding on variety you can't throw heavily into quickness and footwork, not to mention there are signature abilities designed specifically to aid you in such unlucky moments.

The idea is to turn less. Coverage guys were turning upfield despite the receiver not reaching them yet. They also turned the opposite direction of cut routes often times resulting in 360 degree turns before following the WR. Which resulted in easy undercuts and hooks all day long. It wasn't easily fixed by build at all as it was simply the way the sim works.

Now it is simply that the turn causes the CB to stop rather than rotate in a fluid motion while maintaining some speed.

I sure as hell hope not. I haven't noticed much a difference at all in CB play.

I've had a sim in progress for half an hour waiting to see the changes. Probably simmed a running team when the sim unveils.

Really? The scrim I just ran looked pretty solid imo. None of the receivers were running free like before except maybe once in a blue moon which i mean is the way it should be considering LHF's guy is one of the fastest currently in teh game.
