BADGER'S WORLD - WEEK 4

First, UFC 171 was so so. Basically came down to hanging out with some friends and meeting some new people and a solid night of entertainment.

Nearly a quarter of the way through the season and we have eight teams without a win yet and six without a loss.

DEFENSE
SS s30 RRR SS, Macon Mo Bacon. SS came up in the clutch against the Washington Wildcats. With the score tied at 10 in the four quarter SS stepped in front of an intended pass for the interception and took it 44 yards for the lead and the last points of the game. SS also had two tackles and allowed only 50% of the balls thrown his way (the percent sounds better than one of two).

K Stumpy Stumperson III, Austin Longhorns. The Longhorns have a winning record after three weeks and some of that can go to Stumperson who made three of four FG's against the London Fletchers in the Austin 22-17 win.

Motor City Mustangs vs. DotBall Warriors - Both teams are just struggling out the gate but the Mustangs have the experience to carry them through the tough times...24-13.

Austin Longhorns vs. Royal Drunken Monkey Spankers - The Longhorns are looking like world beaters or maybe its just a nice early schedule but they're about to move to 3-1 on the season...23-3.

Legacy's Casual Pride vs. Her Majesty's Dragons - Dragon's dominance over the early season opponents will continue against Legacy...44-10.

Grave Diggers Union vs. Fareham Hell Hounds - Both teams come in at 0-3 so one team will get that first win of the season. My magic eight ball points to the Diggers Union winning in OT...20-17.

Alaskan "War" Raven vs. London Fletchers - Enough of picking London just because. We're struggling and its about to get much worse and the Ravens get to put that first boot to ass...38-7.

Detroit Muscle vs. The Dirty Birds - Nice game here or at least on paper. The Muscle laid waste to the Birds last season 62-6 but it won't be that bad although I'm expecting the Muscle to come away with the win...31-13.

Bier Markt vs. Uh Oh! HOOD gone Casual - These two usually play a good game as evidenced by the regular season game last year where BM won 42-37. Look for a similar hard fought game without all the points...27-23.

Prussian Revolution vs. Manchester United - sunder can slow and contain the rushing QB's and that will be the difference here...24-10.

Washington Wildcats vs. San Dimas Saints - Saints showing the ability to put up some points now they have to tweak the D to hit on all cylinders and they will against Washingon...31-17.

Moscow Musketeers vs. Charlestown Chiefs - Chiefs not churning up a lot of O to date but these two can both be defensive minded if needed. Moscow beat them last season but this season the regular season records get evened up...17-14.

Dot Fathers vs. Twin Peaks - Peaks coming off a tough loss and this will be the Fathers first test within the conference. Badger get all A's baby...27-24.

High Seas Marauders vs. Baltimore Crimewave - Wave needing to regroup after a tough L to Potent last week. They'll hang-10 this week as they'll coast by High Seas...37-6.

Green Bay Maulers vs. French Toast Mafia - Important game for both but the Mafian ground game will be too much for the Mauler D to overcome...23-17.

Potent Potables vs. Full Perky Tets - Potent will want a low scoring game and the Tets would like a higher scoring affair. The Tets D will be up for the test while the O will get going in the second half...31-20.

Sofia Spiders vs. Macon Mo Bacon - Spider got slapped silly this pas week but expect some redeptioni and a win over Mo Bacon...27-10.

AVATAR WAGER GAME: Florida State Seminoles vs. DIABLO DOTS

On the Line - Venge/Donk - the winner gets to pick the others avatar for the rest of the regular season.

The game is at FSS who is sitting at 1-2 on the season. The achilles for the 'Noles this season has certainly been the lower chemistry to start the season. This team will be better later on down the road but the game is now and the 'Noles will be at an 80 overall chemistry.

DIABLO comes in off a loss to last seasons champion - Detroit Muscle. The DOT only lost by 10 (20-10) and its a bit unusual for a team to rush for 200 yards and lose. It was the passing game that struggled throwing two picks and only going 11 for 33 with 89 yards - that will kill anything shining in the ground game.

Why FSS will win
-Playing at home and have the confidence with the two wins in the pre season under the belts.
-'Noles coming in off a much needed win.
-FSS played BM tough and beat the HOOD after a rough opener to start the season.

Why DIABLO will win
-Those two losses did not have chemistry attached to them.
-DOTS ground game may be just too much for the FSS defense.
-The D has played well early on and will ready for the FSS attack.

Who wins
Hats off to Donk for taking this wager on. It will be an uphill battle this early in the season and DIABLO is the clear favorite. I do think this one will be a double digit win for the DOTS
