I can run with qb all game and win. Run with HBs and win. Run with FB all game and win. Pass all game and win. Doesnt matter what I run, still gonna win. The qb runs in my AI are only called if we get ahead. So tip to beat us... GET AHEAD in the 1st Q. If you dont then there will be 20+ Qb runs and you will get behind. Simple as that.

My point was that I put in a quarter specific inputs for 2nd Q, 3rd Q, and 4th Q. But they only fire if we are tied or ahead. So if im behind after the 1st Quarter there will be next to no QB runs in the 2nd, 3rd, 4th Q. Since that is what you and most people complain about. There is your tip, get ahead in Q1 and you will beat us. Cause in all the rest of the OAI, there is a few 5% Qb run packages scattered around. But it isnt called much.

just noticed my NON rushing Qb leads league in passing yards too.... Either thats really sad or maybe I dont have a 1 play offense..

I dont think you can pass all game and be nearly as successful. If you go with a heavy pass approach and try to establish a medium-deep game on us we will beat you most times imo. Your offense is not one play but it is mostly 1 theme, which is pound it to the outside. Whether that is QB rollouts, HB sweep/pitch, or screens, it is the large majority of your plays. Not that there is anything wrong with that, Avenger has made his living that way over in Casual. Several less successful teams going that way in this age group even.

You definitely won't get shut down in the pros, but you will find a lot more teams who can stop the rQB dead, and I suspect you will meet resistence against some of the stronger defenses designed to break perimeter blocks. If you keep the same offense that is.

That said, yours is one of the few teams in this group that I expect to see in WL.

I have never complained about your offense, just made comments about it being one dimension. But props to u, we know that and still can't stop it

But will say this, we came up with MD last time around. You have improved at this stage of the game. Last time around you were hell out of the gate but faded fast. Still waiting for that decline, maybe it will happen again, or maybe not

There are 3 types off offense in this game. Everyone falls into one of the categories.
1. Outside game(my team and many many others) - Lots of screens, outside runs, occasional inside runs mostly in short yardage situations.
2. Teams that dont know what the hell they are doing...reason they are sucking. These offenses do a little of everything...There are alot of these..
3. Teams that run up the middle mostly, few outside runs and screens. And when they do pass its mostly 3rd down and its the short crosses in.out routes. Many teams fall into this category as well. Most WL teams do this from what ive seen. ADD teams do this now.

Yeah you guys have INT builds like myself, passing med-deep on you wouldnt work that well. Once we hit pros ill actually use our FB, his stamina is only 12 right now, which is why we dont use him at all. The Qb runs will change alot as ill actually run Qb plays out of every formation, not just GL. As well as open the play book with different inside/outside runs. Right now its been the same for 3 seasons. Its the same 5 outside right runs, same 5 outside left, same 5 inside runs. That will all change. Passing will increase too once our WRs get some stamina and SAs. They have their basic equipment in catching right now too so when i do throw the occasional pass they can catch better. So they are slower now. Once we hit pros all their equipment will be in speed with different VAs. Sure more teams than mine are in the same boat.

There are also heavy passing teams. They are extremely common in casual but also can be found sporadically in regular. Although, they have become less common in recent seasons and due largely in part to the rise of the interception CB. It is one of the reasons I enjoy casual more than regular.

I have never tried casual. So had no clue.

500 pass attempts, 150 rushes. Whoopin' dat casual azz. Casual Pro is a wash with deep passing teams.

WL has been in the past but even now there are some mostly pass teams like Madcow and Walking Dead.

Not entirely true. ADD teams run outside a lot with our power backs and we also use screen passes more often than you have noticed apparently. Its only when playing you guys that Broomfield runs inside more because you are better at stopping the outside runs. Truth is I have not figured out how to beat your defense.....yet.

You run up the middle against us almost as much as everything else combined.
