That's why I love the brilliant NFL announcers always pulling this one out of their ass:

"X team is 18-4 when X HB gets over 20 carries per game and ONLY 3-7 when he gets less than 20 carries!!!"

Ya fucking think?

Maybe just maybe teams run less when they are losing and more when they are winning?

Who gives a shit if returning or not, still were 16 additional teams here last season so they're all still in the upper portion of the league compared to the other teams they were competing against.

9th & 12th is in the upper portion of 16?

I disagree on the grounds that the top 4 ypc teams were the last 4 playing..

When you look at some of the numbers its apparent at least in the blazes case(my qb can confirm) that we were a rush 1st team...

Led the wl in broken tackles http://goallineblitz.com/game/stats.pl?season=24&league_id=280&conference_id=0&stat=rushing&sort=broken_tackles&playoffs=0&stat_type=raw

Total rushing yards
all of the final 4 teams were within the top 7 in this category as well

I Wouldn't give any sort of credit to a team who mindlessly runs a back into the los and call them a rushing team because of their attempts, but would do so based on the their production.

Glad to know this piece of wisdom, because I was under the impression that a run 1st team ran the ball more than they passed and yes mindlessly pounding a back into the line of scrimmage makes a team a rushing team though not necessarily a successful one.

True, which is why Odessa and Blaze being relatively low in carries among playoff teams is even more significant.

the upper portion of the 32....................I'd bet my nuts that none of the 16 that are not in WL for season 25 are above any of the teams you listed.

Exactly... If you think the Blaze are a passing team then you didn't watch any of their games.

Be careful. Jiddy lost one of his nuts in a similar bet back in the summer of 69'

Enjoy life as a eunuch. Manitoba, Stewart, Chicago, & EEA all ran more often than the Blaze.

Well, it's just obvious. No one thinks of Halifax as a running team because they've used a lot of screens over the years.
