perhaps, but those teams that pulled those upsets had to be good enough to beat the top dogs. Most of the newcomers probably will be one and dones but they'll have at least a few entertaining games.....that said this IS a major downgrade to the WL as a whole imo, so many upsets

I wouldnt call Aradak over stewart an upset, or even devon over Buda.

OPL actually had 3 teams capable of competing for playoffs this year.

Yeah, not really sure why people assume we Upset Stewart. We beat them twice this season, that means they LOST to us TWICE. The only time they beat us was a close game at home when they used Mini Helmets.

Guyana looks legit, but I'd be really surprised if S23 WL was anywhere near the quality of S22. This was really a great season.

It's amazing how much worse next season's WL got because teams couldn't win in the playoffs. Guyana is imo the best new WL team with very little doubt in my mind. Both the CPL teams have a good chance, same with OPL. I think both SAPL teams will be just out of the playoffs, and I have some blind faith in the Smurfs winning some games. Otherwise, I don't see EEPL, WEPL or USAPL teams having much of a chance.
