Yea to me that is a pretty weak punishment. Considering back in 2008 the 49ers were caught talking to Lance Brigg's and lost their 4th round pick along with having to switch their 3rd round pick with the bears..... So Lions got it easy.

It was a weak punishment because really they didn't do anything. I will be shocked if they don't appeal but seeing they only lost a mid 7th round pick they might just let it go. Here was the comment its very vague.

Hey both teams suck. I will always think of Tampa as the worse in the NFL. They have tried to re-brand themselves with the jersey change and the new stadium, but man when they were bad they were really bad.

I know the Bucs and the Lions both have sucked for a while but I still consider the Aints of old to be some of the worst teams of all time. just think back to when their fans wore bags over their heads so noone knew who they were at the games.

The new logo and color scheme, along with pirate ship with cannons at the stadium, is pretty badass. You have to admit. They just aren't that team they were before anymore.

True but neither are the Lions both teams are making good strides in improving while other teams like the Browns and Bills are dropping out of sight

Like i've said now 10 time on this thread most teams deserve to rub it into the Lions for what they have become of late but not a TAMPON SUCS fan who now doesnt live there even if he started out earlier saying how much he loved his great Tampa Ocean.

Did I say Tampa Ocean? You do know they call Rhode Island the Ocean State? Or is the Detroit education system as bad as the Lions?

Wasn't it proven by the many things you have said from the Calvin TD, that according to you the world says it was no td to the Bucs being worth a damn to anyone that your out of challenges. So pick up your ball and red challenge flag and go play in your great cold ass ocean.

The Bills have fallen into a real rough spot, i think the Browns someday have to figure it out.

You have like 10 teams in this area. Look at the Cards quick drop off since the superbowl and Warner left.

Right now Carolina is the Lions of 3 seasons ago. No hope anywhere.

The funny part right now in the NFC the Lions & Bucs are the young up & coming squads. So many people are in love with the Rams but im not sold on them, maybe its because i was at that 44-6 game that the Lions just played with them like they were a GLB CPU team.

I was surprised at the firing of Mangini to be honest. I thought the Browns even in defeat played all their opponents tough and were heading in the right direction. I love Peyton Hillis, and Colt McCoy showed flashes that he might actually be something.

Well, let's be honest. If Stafford can keep his ass on the field, which so far he hasn't been able to show he can, The NFC will be dominated by the Buccs, Lions, Rams and Eagles. All extremely young teams with stable QB positions.

Because applying the franchise tag on Michael Vick and pledging to trade Kevin Kolb stabilizes the QB position for the Eagles for years.
