don't hold your breath. I'm not sure how you could really do it tbh. If the OC's could slide protection manually it could be helpful, but then you are talking more work for the users. I doubt Bort will go away from the hard coded OLine blitz pickups, since the zone blocking wasn't better than this and they've left this system in place for quite a few years at this point.

Also would be nice if you could throw to backs behind the LOS....but they have to wait 4-5 seconds to do so. >_>

Which would be cool if you set a certain progression...and the QB recognizes blitz and throws to the short guy in solo coverage. But that doesnt happen. He goes through the certain progressions you made pre game and might not ever even look at that dude.

designate hot route tab

if blitz throw to WRX

could add that to progressions fairly easy I would think

QB has a pre-snap read...if he passes vision check he throws to WRX. If he fails he gets gobbled up

Exactly what HHWC did against us in the championship game! They got me to set up a the full game plan around avoiding the sacks from glitch blitzes, then instead dropped everyone in coverage and got 6 picks! It was beautiful to see how they outplayed me there.

Since this thread has shifted to blitzing LB's, one thing I've never understood is the 50% penalty to the broken tackle contribution from str while the QB is in the pocket. Can anyone recall seeing a broken sack tackle, or for that matter Turn the Shoulder working? I would love to see some of the blitzing LB's built like Usain Bolt at least occasionally missing a few sack tackles on a power QB.

Yea, it's kinda messed up because it's just a coin toss. You plan for blitzes by holding back the TE and HB for the upcoming game against a team like saigon and they instead just drop 8 into coverage, then you're going to have 3 WRs against all the coverage so it's gonna be impossible. But if a team just drops tons of coverage for a few games in a row and then decides to go heavy with the blitzes the offense is gonna be screwed. Pretty much what happened in the title game. Alpine had reduced receiving options because of holding back for blitzes (that hhwc ran a bunch in the ccg) and then they didn't blitz at all making it 3WRs vs 8 DBs.

Really should be a way for the AIs to adjust better. I knew the blitzes worked well i nthe past but i've never seen a team get 30sacks like saigon did proving it could happen every other play. I thought the blocking was still a bit better than that.

Yea, def was me. Seeing as when I stopped ocing the defense picked up the game. Cav did a better job than me that's for sure, but the defense stepped up after cav took over. Right around when the glitch blitzing started.
