The pancakes for FG and Xtra Points are simply going into the main stat section...not really a big deal in my mind. That's also part of the reason you get a bajillion pancakes in blowouts...lots of XPs being kicked.

I have no memory of having been wrong. But then I don't remember losing any games this season either, so that may be a personal problem

Well, they really shouldn't tbh..its not a big deal but it def. effects leaders etc. As I edited in that post as well, having our starters on the FO/PAT squad though def. threw me off quite a bit. It wasn't until I counted your total pancakes that I went

Although I guess I should learn to read since you covered this in your first post as well. FML.

You are wrong though. Pancakes are up, but so is rev. cakes. They counter themselves pretty well and I would give the advantage to the D-line over the O-lines. As for the sim, I think it has not helped us or hurt us overall but if I had to pick one it hurt us a little more than it helped. Having much more talent is why we look so dominant.

You are really talking out of your ass on this one, apparently because you don't want to admit how much the increase in pancakes has to do with the Blaze being undefeated. The S13 sim has "hurt (CB) a little more than it helped"? I hope you meant that as a joke. You guys have great builds and a good gameplan, but the facts conclusively show that you have benefited tremendously from whatever changes Bort made. You guys would still be a top team in the S12 sim, but you would not be undefeated. Offensively you are riding the ridiculous number of pancakes to success.

Uh ... no. There's no big secret to O-line builds, so I have a very hard time believing that yours are that amazing. I have no doubt that they're great, but so are the ones for other teams. The difference is that you have more of those guys than most, not that your worst guy is better than everyone else's best. Actually it really sounds like dpride is rubbing off on you guys (maybe in more ways than one), because I can't remember seeing you or blln be this obnoxious about bragging in previous seasons. Maybe it's just because you weren't dominating then.

If this were true, don't you think the teams you merged would have been better than they were? Seriously, if even your backups were these amazing builds, wouldn't those backups have won trophies and stuff? Obviously CCCC had a strong season, but again, if those backup builds were better than any other team's starters then it seems like they should have been winning gold, or at least already been in the World League.

Some, yeah, but you can also see individual defensive linemen getting pancaked a lot more than they ever did before in their careers.

CCCC had amazing builds last season. The only thing holding them back was their gameplanning. ***O*** sent our 6 best players to Lincoln, retired a bunch more and replaced them with late season 3 and 4 builds. Up against thier optimum Season 2 builds it should have been a cakewalk for CCCC, but we kept it to within 7 points until halfway through the 4th quarter.

This despite their Dline being able to do this to us:

Thier builds are/were incredible. Better than Alpine's, yet Alpine was still able to beat them. I am guessing the gameplanning on Blaze is better than what CCCC used last season.

I think you are talking out of your ass on this one. If it were the s12 sim, Chocolate Blaze would have the best passing attack in GLB to go along with its tremendous run game.

Pancakes help, but regardless of how the sim is set up the quality of the builds on Blaze can be altered to dominate any sim.

I've also been saying that WRs and the passing game are garbage for seasons now. If the passing game worked then our receivers would be excelling just as much because we have an pretty incredible group of wideouts but they just got shitted on even more in this sim.

Our QB has the best build in the game but it is going to waste because of the passing game.

Our Secondary is amazing, to put it in perspective, one of the players that didn't make the cut for the Blaze went to another top 5 WL team and is the teams top CB, another CB that didn't make the Blaze or Cs teams went to Monmouth. We have the best FS in the game and our LB core is playing lights out. We don't have a single weak spot on the team and our backups are probably built better than any other teams starters at every single position. Then on top of it all Blln just really understands dots. I used to and still do for some stuff but he put a lot of work getting the team rolling.

The LOS battle is more decisive than previous seasons, that's for certain.

It used to be much more of a stalemate, regardless of builds. Now a really well built O *or* D line will spell doom for their opponent, especially in the second half.

I maintain that the D-line actually has the advantage in Season 13, though I feel certain you will disagree.

The S13 sim didn't cripple passing, it just made running even easier with all the pancakes. If you guys keep insisting that Blaze would be such a dominant passing team, then do it. Go pass. You're in the playoffs already, so what's the risk? If you believe so much that you could be just as good without running obsessively in a pancake-increased sim, then be my guest.

A top O-line will beat a top D-line in the current sim.
