I disagree with your logic here. There is a lot of unknown in the first few weeks on the season. A preseason monster might fade away, and a sleeper that no one has on their radar might emerge. If you pick some obvious one sided games in the beginning, you have a better sample to base your upsets on towards the end.

Looks like you haven't played this game before, go on and choose all the good teams after that you won't have good choices and will be eliminated within 1 or 2 weeks.
