The moderator Chessey and the FFA Moderator whotookmybowtie have been abusing their power in the FFA forum. I created this thread ( http://goallineblitz.com/game/forum_thread.pl?thread_id=2142208 ) to be used as a reference for new posters and I included a couple of jokes here and there to keep things lively. Most of the time this thread is kept stickied and unlocked so that it's easily visible and so that other posters can contribute knowledge to it as it is a constantly growing resource.
This thread is no stranger to being locked or unsticky'd. Almost every other day it comes under attack from mods. I usually play along as I am a fairly easy going person but having to search for it over multiple pages when it gets bumped out gets annoying after a while.
On 4/28 the thread was once again locked by Chessey, who posted the messages found here.
Around that time, the FFA Mod whotookmybowtie created this thread http://goallineblitz.com/game/forum_thread.pl?thread_id=2576789 , an obvious joke thread and parody of mine which was later sticky'd.
On 4/28 I really wasn't in the mood for these games. I requested that the thread be unlocked and sticky'd once more since I felt that it was an effective resource but Chessey refused.
I inquired as to why it was locked and was informed that the thread contained too much profanity. Upon examination of the main post in the thread discovered only two words that could really be considered "profane". The words are "Crap" and "Bastards"
whotookmybowtie's main post also contains two profanities, "Fucking" and "bastards"
It's obvious that this is not truly the reason for the threads being locked. I am sending this tickets in hopes that my thread can be unlocked and (hopefully) re-sticky'd.
