Somehow I don't think so, faedie. I think merenoise and his GMs thought we would come out and go run-heavy. We've given no indications in any of our previous games this season that we like to throw the ball, especially on 1st down. Plus we've proven what we can do to a team like the Cowthorpe when we mericlessly pound the ball between our tackles.

I don't think it was an AI issue for them at all, TBH.

No this was not AI related. My DC went a little off the reservation trying to stuff their run. Up until this game ECA had been 100% run on first down and we expect them to pound it on 1st and 10 and 3rd and short since that has usually been their bread and butter. mcgovern and his GMs did a great job of switching it up against us and they caught us with our pants down. ECA is always a tough game and I give them all the credit in the world for this one. tbh even without the crazy goalline attack I think they would have won this one anyway, they had our offense shut down until they went into prevent in the 4th quarter.

Running goal line is one thing, blitzing the CBs though gives it that extra special touch
