I've been sick as a dog the last couple of days and haven't been on to respond, but you are full of crap! You beat a team on your own level and I'm supposed to be impressed. Who cares. This argument died weeks ago and you can't let it go. You're worried about some team of level 26's. You must be insecure.

No, I'm not impressed that you didn't promote last season when like 8 teams advance every year, 4 from each conference. I'm also not impressed that your team is full of level 40+ players when the league average is probably closer to 28.

And, you lost the economic strategy a long time ago. After two full seasons you only had 2 sections of stadium. You wasted money bro and that is why you can't buy equipment for your team this season.

Please explain to me what argument you think you won. I think your team has wasted money and hasn't been successful enough to promote even though they are filled with high level players. To me that says bad coaching or bad builds.

Dude, I don't know where you keep getting this WRONG information.

Three teams were promoted from this conference last year:

Vilnius Velociraptors (14-2, won conference title)
Stalingrad Ironmen (13-3, including a loss to the Niners)
Vorkuta Yellowhammers (12-4, also including a loss to the Niners)

Portland finished 13-3, but was not promoted over Vorkuta because Vorkuta beat them in the first round of the playoffs.

No one else was promoted from this conference.

Now, in Zeta....

the Offtopics (15-1), Chiefs (14-2), Wolfpack (12-4), and Butchers (16-0) were all promoted.

So a total of SEVEN teams were promoted to AA from this league. Why the Niners weren't promoted? Who knows? Maybe there weren't enough relegations to go around? Doesn't matter. Point is, you're fucking wrong, and you need to shut your mouth and get your facts straight before you talk shit when you don't know the score.

You don't know when it's good or bad. You really don't know, because you don't know what we're trying to do, you guys don't look at the films. You don't know what happened. You really don't know. You think you know, but you don't know. And you never will.

Um, first of all, your late to the show, Mario. Second of all, you proved what I've been trying to say and that is that a bunch of teams advance every year and not promoting with that kind of roster either means bad talent or bad coaching. I said 8 teams are advancing and was guestimating based on what I saw in our league and a few others. You researched it and found 7. You act like I'm way off. Potty mouth.

You completely missed the point. There were 8 teams dominating the league last year, but only seven were promoted.

You won't even entertain the notion that Portland didn't get promoted because this was a top-heavy league last year and there were only seven available spots in EE AA2 for promotions.

It's a fair point, tbqh. Don't see the need to belabor it, however. Nobody's born knowing how to play this game. You learn from your mistakes, and the Niners learned from theirs.

Not getting promoted last season was probably a blessing in disguise. Given 'em a chance to play catch up a little on the stadium.

Honestly, no one has asked me to consider that. They have cursed at me and called me names and said I don't know anything or have facts. Honestly, coming into a league you don't know everything and it is pretty tough to figure out where everyone went and came from. I could tell who came up from BBB by their records, but I couldn't tell who left. That being said, my conclusions were pretty much what I had thought. Not perfect, but pretty close.

To consider your point:
If three teams promoted, then you were probably the 4 seed. You may have been the 3rd and got knocked off, but you can tell me that. I've been on teams that got upset in the playoffs and we decided to stay there was nothing to prove and so we put in a request for promotion. You guys are very similar to that team. A season with almost no competition because you have a team stocked full of players that should be in AA and AAA going against of league of bad teams from A and good teams from BBB.

You're conference may have been top heavy, but that means that you're team either had bad coaching or builds that hindered your from finishing top 2 with the roster you had. The roster didn't change. That's my opinion. You may have weak builds or bad coaching.

It's over for me. I wouldn't have even argued it, if a couple of the guys didn't tell me how they didn't waste any money or make any poor financial decisions and that they had bought all the stadium possible. I knew that wasn't the case. You guys are on the right track this season and should make a lot in the playoffs to add all of section 2 which is a must to ever pay equipment.

We added 4 starters and lost 1 starter. We let go 3 guys and another signed with his own team. I think total we added 5 players this offseason.

The 1st seed in Alpha from last season went CPU after the season. They got promoted and then demoted during offseason. I think......

The only thing I'll say about coaching (and please, coach, don't think I'm throwing you under the bus here, because I'm not) is that we had a glitch in our offensive AI last year that cost us three games, including our first round playoff matchup.

If that's bad coaching, than it is what it is - it was a minor glitch related to triggering field goal attempts at the end of the game.

I happen to think our OC last year was outstanding - especially since I've been OC'ing and having to stay on top of weird things that happen as a second-year OC for another EE A team.

Is one mistake "bad coaching"? That's for you to decide, tbqh. If you look at our game record last year, it'd be hard to say we had bad coaching, and even harder to say we had bad builds.

I still say that there were a bunch of really talented teams in this league last year, and there just wasn't room for all of them in AA#2.
