Well folks,
I have come to a decision to sell Sphere, I am sure this will get alot of awesome post but unlike 99.9% of my post, this one is real.
Most of us in Sphere as I have explained come from a MMO back ground with about 70% of us meeting in PotBS for the first time where we went on to get several world first. We started in Goal Line as a side project and had people from the warring factions join the team as a sort of server wide deal. We treated it as fun the first season and we luck boxed our way into the playoffs.
In the second season I really did try and step it up but we fell short in the playoffs, it was around here when we all quit PotBS to get ready for AoC, this is also when I started dicking around on the A #1 forums for some much needed fun in lack of other shit to do.
Season 3 I made all the classic post about us being the favorite and we all know how that turned out. This season we played without the advanced AI and like always I was solo gming the whole team for all four seasons. As the other team owners know thats a insane amount of work, I think I am or atleast was the longest solo run team in the A #1. Thats taken its toll and the game is not fun in the way it once was. We got hit with the sim changes and had to retool just about every build on the team. You could see some of the changes in the Roughneck games but clearly we are still short of the goal.
I will not be gutting the team, I do not want that tied to me in any way shape or form, I have given the option to Silver, who is one of the best players you could ever ask for total stand up guy, to move his players out if he would like.
Other than that I will be selling the team but all of us will still be playing and you can bet your ass I will be posting.
