Seriously I have questioned this because in the real NFL you have to get a good "jump" off the line, and since there is a jumping stat, would it be helpful to put anything into it?

I think agility is the "jump".

Edit:
Nevermind the second part of that statement...time to strangle one of my sources.

I would consider jumping before throwing, kicking, and punting. but not until those were the only options left...and yes I would raise catching and carrying before jumping.

I have never read where jumping would do anything for O-lineman. If it would remotely affect the player, someone would've suggested it sooner.

Just because you haven't read it somewhere doesn't mean that it can't be true.
No one knew that jumping helped punters until someone made a post about it and Bort came in and said that jumping helps the punting mechanics, so everyone started getting it up.

actually training past the softcaps isn't a bad idea.

Let's say you're at 0.05 training now that you're past the 4:1 cap.

Well you gotta multiply that by 4 and that's how many SPs you're saving, 0.20, by training for one day.

I think jumping is probably more important than most people give credit for...
its upwards acceleration off of the ground and a measure of leg strength... hell I think bort even tries to push this as leg press intense training drill is +str/+jump.

Might be great for getting those pancakes. WTB 60str/60 jump oline and see the pancakes.

Jumping helps you make diving tackles after turnovers and on special teams.
