Hey guys,

I hate to make this announcement. However, over the past couple of seasons, the Cans have continued to lose interest from our agents for various reasons (Bortifications, etc). The current agents have tried to keep this team competitive, but we can't continue to control the numbers of players we have had to recently. The Cans players will move in various directions. Some may move to the Nites and others will scatter across GLB.

Again, I hate to do this as it hurts the league, but myself as well as the other agents on the Cans made every attempt keep this going as our time and money would allow. I hope you all understand where we are coming from, and I hope for your forgiveness.

Yikes. That sucks to hear.

"Sucks" doesn't begin to explain how I feel when a great team disbands, principally due to faults in the core game play.

Good luck wherever you guys go. Forgiveness is not needed, and I totally understand where you all are coming from.

We were only up here for a season, but I enjoyed getting to play you guys twice.

I understand and sympathize with teams that need to disband. I can't accept that the powers that be haven't come up with a solution to the gutting problem re: league competition at the top levels.

A system really needs to be put in place and soon, otherwise it really takes away from the accomplishment of getting here

Believe me, this was the last thing that we wanted to do, we all know how hard it is to deal with guttings and disbanding teams. We had a great core group of guys but we were gradually turning into a Brantford-type team. There's nothing wrong with that, but with financial and offline life obligations it's amazing that they can run a team with so few agents. We'll still be around in varying degrees, some here and some elsewhere.
