Canada A#5 Predictions - Conference Championships
Wow, upset city last round. Congratulations on getting this far, but now the real test comes. Now its no longer about superior talent, but about using what you got to the best. Triple B's is looking sweet after taking care of Quebec fairly easily. Eastside is pumped after knocking off the #1 heads. Not to be outdone, Shilo is stoked too after throwing an upset party of their own. And business as usual for Kansas City, never a doubt there
Who's getting promoted?! Time to find out!
Eastern
Eastside Eagles at Triple B's 13th Cadre
Last Matchup: Triple B's def Eastside 16-3
Triple B Offense vs Eastside Defense: What a chess game this matchup is going to be. The more I watch Triple B's offense, the more impressed I am. You can't key in on 1 person or aspect, because of their versatillity. Eastside's defense is good enough that they'll hold them to a decent amount of points.
Eastside Offense vs Triple B Defense: This matchup will be the true key to this game. Eastside has proven to be a very good running team, but Triple B's run defense is stingy. They might need to take a page out of the Flappin playbook to pass against Triple B's, except Triple B's pass defense is better than the Flappin's was. It will be interesting to see if Eastside can come up with something creative to move the ball. We've seen them do it in the past, can they do it again?
Prediction: Triple B's 17 Eastside 7
Western
Shilo Silly Nannies at Kansas City Gorillas
Last Matchup: Kansas City def Shilo 30-14
Kansas City Offense vs Shilo Defense: Shilo's defense was un-shilo-like in their last meeting. However, this being at the very beginning of the season, I think things have changed a bit since then. Still, Kansas City has a decent offense that moves the ball however they choose. This game is the unstoppable force meets the immovable object.
Shilo Offense vs Kansas City Defense: Shilo's offense is better than average, but I definitely give the edge here to Kansas City. The slight difference can be made up, in my mind, by good gameplanning, as i don't think the gap is huge enough that it can't be closed... but it'll be tough.
Prediction: Kansas City 20 Shilo 14
